Well it does not sound like Stern will stop the move if it happens. Isn't the Honda Center gettin a little old too? Have they did any upgrades to the arena?
I think three NBA teams in the L.A. area maybe a little much, Besides I thought the Clippers would eventually move to Anaheim.
I caught the All-Star game on radio and when Ric Bucher brought up the rumor, he pointed out that L.A. and Anaheim are two very different demographics, which I agree with to an extent. In a perfect world, Anaheim would get the Clippers, but no one will ever convince Donald Sterling to take his team out of the big money Staples Center.
So I'm getting three basketball teams within 25 miles of my house. Can I trade the Kings and the Clippers for a football team, maybe?
Quite frankly if either the Kings or the Clippers are going to move I'd like to see them become the new Seattle SuperSonics.
(I'd also be happy with either of them coming to Hampton Roads).
EDIT: An update on the situation:
The franchise has requested an extension on the NBA's March 1 deadline to tell the league if they plan to move.
Doesn't sound good for those who hope they'll stay in Sacramento.
