Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Nia Jax, and others have been released from their WWE contracts.
Other releases include Eva Marie, Ember Moon, Scarlett Bordeaux, Franky Monet and Oney Lorcan.
Biggest surprise in this bunch has got to be Jax, to me. She's been in WWE since 2014, is a cousin of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Usos, and while she's notoriously stiff, it's been a few years since she broke Becky Lynch's face and helped make her a star.

There is so much unsigned talent floating around now, and AEW already has the problem of more guys than they can feature. Anyone want to start up a wrestling promotion?
It's the most important meal of the day.
WWE's roster has been bloated for so long, having guys on the roster for years without using them. It's about time they clean up actually. In the past wrestlers were hardly ever "for lifers" .
BUT it's so insane who they release and when. A guy like Lee would've so much upside if they actually bothered looking at who he is and what he can and then use that. Instead they try to make him cookie cutter or throw a stupid gimmick on him and then release him when it doesn't work. The same for someone like Ember or Franky.
There is less and less reason to watch WWE and even less reason to believe they can provide a show that I enjoy
For some reason the Miss South Carolina and Miss Teen S.C. are hosting a similar wrestling hootenanny at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, one of the old hubs for Mid-Atlantic. After a meet and greet with photos and autographs, one can see:
