You know, I thought for a good while that Kaitlyn had potential to be the next Trish Stratus, in the sense she's a former model who improved a lot in the ring.
I also find her to be incredibly good looking (best looking woman in the company IMHO), but that's neither here nor there.

If you look beside the wwe.com article, there is another blurb about her recently getting engaged. WTF?!?!?!? I am now doubly saddened. Thank you, K8lyn, for helping make the wonder that was NXT3.
Bummer. I imagine she was happy with the run she had and ready to move on, particularly in light of her shuffling out of the light of late. I'll miss her appearances on Big E's instagram the most.
I knew one day the gong would finally catch up to her.
Kaitlyn on Raw as a vulnerable yet vengeful woman was pretty boring. Kaitlyn on NXT:Redemption and seemingly every piece of WWE internet content I ever came across was a true delight.
She is probably quitting to have that steroid entrepreneur's artificial inseminations, but I'd watch my third episode of iMPACT ever if they brought Kaitlyn to TNA with a transatlantic accent as Ethan Carter's high maintenance fiancee. But they've already had months to make Maxine his icy, flirtatious stepsister. This is why Jeff Jarrett and Toby Keith are going to run them out of business.
She is pretty witty on Twitter, but she rarely had a chance to show that side on TV. I have seen them stick with much worse talents, male and female, a lot longer than this. So this is a surprise.

I just felt the need to point out that I was the first person to truly understand the Kaitlyn Experience back in her debut and I am obviously taking this harder than all of you combined.
She is one of those cases where, if Creative let them improv a bit they would get over better with fans. The girl was pretty funny on NXT3, but her backstage skits on NXTRedemption with Bateman, Aj, Better Fandango, and Maxine were fantastic.
There is this thing she did whenever she had a promo with AJ back then were she would blindly hang up her hood, but not hang it. It was so ridiculously stupid that It still makes me laugh whenever I watch it today.
So I was sad when she started getting her push and they made her a generic babyface. Her personality and comedic timing is just as impressive as her physique, so it always bothered me that they thought making her super serious and talk less would get her over. It didn't.
Aj get's to stretch out her acting skills in promos, develop her character's personality in various angles, and make the three old mongoloids on the RAW table look like they are stuck in the stone age with wit while being funny. She is the most over DIva in the roster.
If Kaitlyn had been allowed to showcase even nearly as much of her comedic persona she would of been more over than she was in her title run. Creative dropped the ball on her. I wasn't even the biggest fan but I am sad to see her go, I really felt she could of improved the Diva's Division had she been allowed to be herself more.

AJ in a Hog Pen match is coming. This sucks. Kaitlyn was one of my favorites, because of her body type and general sense of fun. Now, we have more models and Total Divas in a division that probably should be taken out back and put out of its misery at this point.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

I understand the sense of frustration with the current Diva's division, but this is far, far from the worst shape it's ever been in. Right after Trish, Victoria, and Molly all left at the same time, there were far less qualified workers doing far less on the show for far lower stakes. Now, we've got a kind of unreasonable focus on the Total Divas (and here I'll make my bold prediction - within very short order, every woman in the company will be on that show or out of a job), but some of those women are good performers, and we've still got some other solid performers on the cast, and the show itself is kind of guaranteeing that they get time on RAW and Smackdown.

Plus, Summer Rae is quickly becoming pretty amazing in the ring.
There's quite a few women in NXT right now that would have fit right into the "Golden Age" with Trish, Molly, etc. They're just waiting for the current crop to move on in some form or another for them to get called up.

Yeah, and I can't help but stress the excellence of the Flair DVD. I read a lot about what happened in Greenville with that tribute. But after seeing it unfold on the DVD, I have to admit, I got chills.
