In what looks to mostly be a cap-clearing move, the Bulls dealt John Salmon to the Bucks for Joe Alexander and Hakim Warrick, along with their #2 in 2011 and 2012 AND Milwaukee can swap #1s in 2010 if Chicago's pick is outside the Top 10.
I love Salmons but it seems like he's on a new team every year. (A quick check reveals this will only be his fourth team, so I must be crazy.) I wonder which free agent the Bulls think they can score this summer?

They'd be happy with LeBron or Bosh, but they badly want Wade, and everything falls apart if it's not one of those three.
Salmons was really good last year for the Bulls, when he was the complimentary shooter to Ben Gordon. When Gordon went to the Pistons, so did Salmons ability to shoot. Team started playing better when he was finally removed from the lineup. Salmons has an option for next season, and would be smart to pick it up, so either he or Tyrus had to go to ensure room for a max deal. They decided to get rid of both.
Alexander won't get off the inactive list, but Warrick will slip into Thomas spot in the rotation.
Well, it's about freakin' time. Personally, at the rate it seemed to be taking, I was starting to wonder if they'd remember to debut the jerseys before, you know, the season started. LOL...
