Mayfield's NASCAR ban was previously discussed here and here...
So far they appear to have busted him for possession, and then they went to his house and found 50 guns and some more meth in a safe. Apparently the reason they went to search Mayfield's property was a criminal complaint filed by Red Bull Racing (which is weird) over stolen property.

Like I said before, I wish NASCAR would be a little more open with their drug policy because it seems like they only test and enforce it at certain individuals at times. That said, it's hard to deny that they got it right with Mayfield. That dude has clearly fallen apart the last couple of years.
The thing that drives me insane is that judging by the comments I'm reading on ESPN and other news articles, there are people *still* accusing NASCAR of setting up Mayfield. That somehow they have nothing better to do than conspire to get him jailed by putting a bunch of equipment on his lawn. That's almost as stupid as if someone were to say NASCAR were involved in the Handericks plane crash earlier this week and it somehow connected to the plane crash in Martinsville.
...and if Junior was tested and was found positive with something in his system, you know that all the 88 car fanboys and fangirls will start screaming that it's fixed or fake or whatever. It's all Joe Gibbs Racing's fault? I dunno.
I believe there should be a standardized drug and alcohol policy when it comes to all professional sport. The same system, all across the board, that encompasses all sports authorities: NHL, NBA, MLB, even the PGA, and NASCAR.

Are there any other bodybuilding fans on the-w? No? Well anyway, I didn't order Joe Weider's Mr. Olympia 2004 live, but I did catch it on INHD a few nights back. Triple H helped host the new challenge round, which was very exciting.
