As an avid reader of the books by Lee Child, I was not a fan of Tom Cruise as the lead. But this was a lot of fun and followed the book well. One liners and great action made me hope that there will be more.
It's out tomorrow in the UK, but I caught it at the world premiere a couple weeks back. I thought it was a helluva lot of fun, despite the silliness being a bit too silly at moments.
I've written my usual spoil-free review (londonfilmfanatiq.com), so if anyone is sitting on the fence over seeing this or not, it may be worth a read.
Way late, but I saw this last night waiting to get a flight out of Vegas from CES, and I also thought it was great fun. It makes me interested enough to want to read at least one of the novels with Jack Reacher in it. I liked Cruise, but I thought Rosamund Pike was the star of the movie.

Admittedly, THIS is the show I can't help but binge. First episode was great, but episode four, Darth Lahey, had probably the best Star Wars homage I have seen.
