Ivory’s World Wrestling Entertainment television contract will not be renewed. She will make her final appearance on The WWE Experience this weekend. WWE wishes Ivory well and hopes to work with her again in the near future.
Can't say I'm particularly surprised, although I was under the impression that in addition to her work on The WWE Experience (which I don't think anyone actually watches), she was a trainer at OVW?
Anyhoo, she'll obviously always be remembered for her role in the Right to Censor stable, in which she held the Women's Title for quite some time before being punked by Cher (I mean, Chyna) at WrestleMania X-7.

Can't say this is suprising since Experience is being dropped this fall. Who will Todd Grisham's lackey be on Experience for the next couple months? Will anyone care? I guess we'll wait for and find out~!
The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

Kinda weird that they couldnt just hang onto her for 2 more months & let her finish out the show.

Well since it states her contract is running out, I'm guessing there was no point of WWE to offer her a two-month deal.

Experience itself is going away, but it appears they'll be doing the same content program in the Sunday/USA slot. The two month break will allow them to try someone out (I'm guessing Christy) for a couple months, and figure out if she'll work before the one week where they might get viewers (the switch to USA.)
A three-time womens champ for a combined 8 months. Her last reign was for six months. Give you an idea how long she's been around, her first title win was against Debra McMichael.

I think she was one of many female wrestlers that probably wouldn't have minded doing Playboy, but sadly was never given the opportunity......dammit !!!

I think it's funny that people say they miss RTC...I found them annoying and really just not fun to watch and I think I was in the majority. I remember Val Venis and his annoying Good Humor man outfit from them most of all. Yeesh.
I liked Ivory though. At least she got rid of that dumb scarf.

The wording's unusual. Might not be significant, but what I read between the lines is that they're not renewing her for television, but they may be still negotiating with her for something else (eg. maybe OVW trainer, or whatever). Putting over her final TV appearance is a nice gesture for her fans. (I still want to be Ivory when I grow up!)

whilel I doubt that she was given the opportunity, Ivory is very very very anti-playboy -- if you listen to her 2 hour long interview, pretty sure it was on the LAW show, anyways she just goes off about how bad for women Playboy is, for like 15 minutes. I talked to her for about 10 minutes once at a show, and she is a totally awesome, very opinionated woman. Put me in the column of a big RTC fan, but then anything with the uber-talented-on-the-mike Mr. Richards is a win for me! You'd think now would be the perfect time to bring back RTC, except for that whole BWO thing going on. Oh well, I'll take BWO over RTC for sure.
I watched most of WWE Experience this morning to see if there was any mention of her departure and I didn't catch any. That's an hour of my life I'm not getting back.
She did look quite good in her final appearance, wearing what looked like a nightgown as she walked the streets of New York.
Amazing how long she has stayed with the company considering how long it's been since she had a decent storyline on TV. It seems like RTC was the last time they put any thought into her character.
