So, I'm hoping someone here can help me figure this out. I bought a new iPod touch back in ... December, maybe. Logically, I transferred a bunch of music to my new device from my iTunes in the first day or two after I got it. Thousands of files. Ever since, any time I try and add new music to the iPod, iTunes says it is copying over hundreds of files - I think it is 546. I add two songs I just downloaded, and it copies 546 files. But it is not actually copying any files - all the music I transferred that first time is already there. It worked.
This is really annoying, because copying two songs should take seconds, instead it takes five minutes or so. Anyone have any idea what is causing this and what I can do about it?
