This weekend during the Smackdown! airing (for some reason it airs on Saturday afternoon on WB over here instead of Thursday night), there was an ad for an upcoming house show August 16. It advertised HHH and Nash in a Street Fight for the WWE title and, here's the weird part, Val Venis in an Intercontinental title bout with Christian. Obviously, Christian isn't the Intercontinental Champion ... right now. Think the WWE gave away a near-future title change, or was this ad just made before Booker T won it? And if the latter, wouldn't they know beforehand that Booker T would be the champion by mid-August unless it was a hotshot? I'm wondering if I just stumbled upon a spoiler or if this is just some goof nobody bothered to correct.
A couple days ago it was reported that there are still advertisements for an upcoming house show (the location escapes me at the moment) still advertising a Piper's Pit with Vince, Steph, and Zack Gowen plus Tajiri and Guerrero tagging.
It's a goof. They're advertising an upcoming house show here in Wichita with one of the featured matches being Eddie/Tajiri vs. Hass/Benjamin for Eddie and Tajiri's belts.

Looks like the title switch to Booker T was probably a hotshot change. They're still announcing Chris Benoit vs Rhyno in an I Quit Match for an upcoming house show in Edmonton, even though the two never actually split.
Originally posted by CANADIAN BULLDOGThat's nothing. I just saw an ad for an upcoming match between Hall, Nash and X-Pac against Bradshaw, Austin and Kane.
Okay... No I didn't........ I just didn't want to feel left out.
Last week, I DID see a local cable drop-in for "WWF Sunday Night Heat on MTV!!" complete with shots of D-Lo, Chyna, and a bunch of SmackDown! people.
During RAW up here in Canada, they showed a bunch of different promos for upcoming events in Canada. The "Piper's Pit with Vince" has now been officially changed to "Vince will be there to challenge Zach Gowen." It was kind of funny to see three different Vince promos for three different house shows during the same RAW, all basically saying the same thing.
