First of all, what the hell is Pheed?
Second of all, what d'you suppose this ground breaking, game changing announcement is? I know we usually don't like it, but on this one, perhaps we will need to encourage some wild speculation!
(Or if Meltzer already told you, feel free to be the killjoy with actual "facts" as well.)
The Network, I would think. Tossing in Wrestlemania for subscribers as a trial balloon for eventually replacing the PPV model would indeed Change Everything, would it not?
"Playing guitars. It's hard to sing while playing...guitars."
Pretty sure its the Network announcement. I think its telling that they are announcing it at 9:30pm Eastern on a Wednesday night. I would think something that huge you'd want to announce during the business day, but perhaps Vince doesn't want to see his stock plummet the minute after the announcement.
Austin's presence may be nothing more than putting his face on the archived video from the Attitude Era, but if they wanted to make original programming for the app, they could provide his podcast or another Tough Enough, which he last hosted.
"To be the man, you gotta beat demands." -- The Lovely Mrs. Tracker
It'd be a Gobbledygooker 2.0 moment if it's anything but the Network.

Because it's CES, there are a hundred companies doing presentations. It may be just be that was just the best time they could get to actually get media over there.
I'd actually expect the stock to go up a bit, at least in the short term, after this announcement. (Not about to put my money on it, though.)

Weird timing for me, as I just watched the Orton doc on Netflix last week. He and his wife were discussing his "demons" and how she and his daughter helped motivate him to clean up and mature. It was actually quite touching, not so much now.
