Joes promo was cool, teasing a heel turn maybe? - Roode in general is clicking as a babyface and liked his match with King and backstage stuff with Angle - Rhino's return was good.Best off as a bodyguard type. - Brittany looking fine and cut a goodish heel promo - The Shaw, Gunner Anderson and Christy segment, wondering where they are going with this angle? - Dat Angle/Aries tease - Gail winning was random, Angelina run was crap so I don't mind. Really good womans match though. - Lashley winning clean, good booking. MvP is a great spokesman for him and the announcers have put him over strong.
Wish theyd use Storm more. Looking forward to Sanada vs Aries next week.
That Shaw segment was so many shades of awesome. Awkward, possibly sincere apologies for the win! Gunner is doing a good job as the babyface who makes his segments educational for both the viewers and the other wrestlers. (It is kinda like Matt Morgan's gimmick when he was the babyface who made sure people understood how dangerous it is for guys to wrestle when they have concussions.)
I'm also excited that we're finally going to get the long awaited Aries/Sanada match.
I greatly appreciate Brittany now that I realize that her lesbian (bi?) gimmick was foreshadowed way back when she ran with Orlando. Continuity!
The announcers shouldn't have acted shocked by Rhino attacking a former EV2.0 guy and aligning with the forces of money. The last time Rhino appeared on impact was... when he turned on EV2.0 because Immortal was where the money was.
Sampled the show for the first time in a long time and I thought it was a good show. I liked Angle's long time rival and sometime friend Joe questioning whether Angle was going turn out any different than Dixie and MVP. I also liked the backstage segment between Angle and Roode where they acknowledged their long feud and Angle said he still didn't like Roode, but respected him. Brittany's turn was well done the problem was the fans cheered her. I personally like Madison more as a heel than a face. Knockouts match was pretty solid and Gail is just a tremendous worker and I'm glad she is a face again. Rhino selling out made sense and as Brian said he's perfect in the bodyguard role. Lashley vs Young was pretty good and I am surprised that for the first time in their history TNA is putting a heel champ over clean. Tag team match was fine, but again showed how bereft TNA is of tag teams, which is a shame cause The Wolves are awesome. Still no idea why a Bad a Influence was let go they could be having a awesome feud with a The Wolves. All in all, this was a good show and I'll check out next weeks show.
Okay, normally I don't even bother with this kind of thing, but the guy who e-mailed me seemed nice enough and the net community has not been overly helpful thus far I'm told.
