Not a particularly good show this week. TNA did a nice job setting up next weeks Destination X special, but this weeks show was subpar for sure. The good was the build up to Taryn Vs Gail Kim 3 that was good until the Beutiful people interfered. I hope to see Gail and Taryn have another match because their first two matches were excellent. Gail is great and the WWE dropped the ball on here not once, but twice and Taryn has worked hard to become a good in ring performer. The Hardys promo and challenge to the a Wolves was good as was the Wolves response. Hopefully the match gets fifteen minutes next week. Sanada turning on Muta was well done and it will be interesting to see if there's a partnership with a Storm and who faces Muta at BFG. Nice showcase match for Lowki in his return. TNA should have done better building up next weeks X division matches and Taz and Tenay's reaction to LowKi's return was subpar. Roode vs MVP was fine and the crowd was way behind Roode, but it's strange booking to put a injured heel in there at a disadvantage. That was a fugly sharpshooter by Roode. I mean it was so ugly the The Rock's sharpshooter didn't look as bad. Finish made sense given the injury story. I was excited about Roode's face turn, but TNA has him playing second fiddle to the Dixie-Bully feud sadly. The Dixie-Bully feud consistently draws the lowest quarter hour ratings, but TNA continues to put it in the main Event slot. EC3 and Spud are trying, but even they can't carry this feud and make it good and Dreamer shouldn't be on tv in 2014. Snitsky and Big Zeke's intro as Dixie's henchmen is laughable even if they aren't sticking around long. Aries promo giving up the X division title for a world title shot was fine. All in all, not a strong show. Next weeks show with Aries Vs Lashley, Hardys vs The Wolves and the X division qualifiers looks like it'll be a strong show.

Roode is pretty smooth in the ring I think the sharpshooter looked so bad because he was protecting MVPS knee. How long before LOW kI is unhappy with his push and asks for his release? Done it at every promotion he has been in. With Tajari coming in on the next set of Tv tapings I bet it will be Muta and Tajari vs Sanada and Storm at Bound for Glory in Tokyo. Kill the Dixie stuff with fire plz.

Figures that I pick the crappiest possible week to start watching TNA again ... so is TNA no longer doing PPVs, and now they're just doing their 'big shows' on Thursdays?

I only caught the second half of it, which means that I missed Low Ki (which kinda sucks cuz he's one of my favorites). I did see the stuff with Aries giving up the X-Division title for a shot at Lashley, the Knockouts match (which was pretty good until the random screwjob ending), and the appearance by Great Muta. The stuff with Sanada went straight over my head, though we've seen similar angles dozens of times with minor variations.

Too bad the ECW crowd had to go home disappointed, with neither blood nor tables nor a Team ECW win. I've only been watching the Dixie Carter stuff for a week and already I'm bored as hell with it. Dixie's the current owner of TNA, isn't she? Man, this promotion really has a bad history of owners using it as a platform to get themselves over, even when they're the least interesting and lowest-rated angle on the show ...

I'll tune in to Destination X next week, maybe it won't suck quite as bad.

I thought the show was great this week. I can't remember the last time so many big names debuted on one show. Probably way back at the kickoff of the Hogan-Bischoff Regime.

The arena looked better to me this week. The interviews from the balcony, looking towards the ring, were cool visuals.

Roode battering his former boss was very entertaining. It was Steve Austinesque, without being Stone Coldesque. I'd like to see Roode fight MVP some more.

Matt Hardy's(~!) return seemed out of no where, which made things exciting. It set the stage for a night of big returns. Matt looked like he was in great shape. Much more like Version One rather than Fat Hardy. Matt needs better music though. I had to mentally overdub his generic theme with "Live for the Moment". I imagine that TNA can't get the actual "Live for the Moment" theme, but I'm surprised that they can't find an instrumental takeoff on it like they usually do for themes.

LOW KI. He needs a different outfit though. He looked like a blue, maskless Manik in that outfit. I'm happy that Robbie E has been cured of Coulrophobia.

Its interesting to see Samuel Shaw acting so normally. Heel Anderson v. Babyface Shaw looks to be a winning feud. Shaw will be sticking around for a few years according to: http://prowrestling.net/article.php?TNA-News-TNA-announces-new-contracts-for-three-current-wrestlers-38127 (Brooke and Sanada will be around for a while too, surprisingly.)

King Mo still exists!? And he has a reason to exist now!? Its a shame though that King Mo's last match was with Rampage. As we recall, Rampage was part of the Main Event Mafia, which was opposed to Bully Ray's Aces and Eights. As such, a cooler return would have been Rampage Jackson, who had been feuding with Bully's ally Tito Ortiz.

Magnus and Bram need a name. They should just use London Brawling in honor of Desmonde. Anyway, Magnus/Bram are enlivening the tag division, and Tiffany/Kim was a good showing for the Knockouts' division.

I was disappointed when Aries decided to give up the X title again. At least "Option D" (the X-Champion getting shots at the Heavyweight Champ whenever the X-Champ wants) sounded like legitimate justification for Aries to be vacating the belt again.

It was amusing how the video packages on Option C pretty much ignore the fact that it was Chris Sabin who used it last year. The Sabin reign continues to perplex me.

MVP seems super mature for an evil faction leader. Most evil leaders would let their group fall apart rather then letting their Dragon become world champ in their place. Instead, MVP seems to know a good thing when he sees it, and is letting Lashley keep the spotlight. I applaud that.

Great Muta shoots mist and fire. He lived up to his mystique. Glad to see the bromance between Storm and Sanada evolve. Bitter former heroes, for the win! I trust that Storm remembers that he has a certain piece of luggage with a piece of paper in it.

Snitsky's debut was weird unless they are running with a WWECW "Hardcore" Homecoming plotline for Hardcore Justice. That would certainly be a very Dixie thing to do. I hope they get Tiffany involved with that.

Now that the book of Ezekiel is finally reopened, I want to see him and Rhino clash.

The thing I might liked most about Kaitlyn is that she knew her promo was bombing. And just ended it with the 'aaand scene' thing.
