The deal is made better by New Jersey in that there's no guarantees what the future holds for Cormier while serving his current suspension for Being A Dangerous Assclown.
Zach Parise's gotta be the happiest guy in the Devils locker room today.
wow, good job devils, gave up quite a bit for what may be a rental, but if they wanna have a chance in the east against washington, great move. lmao against the comeback against the leafs tonight, just crazy
I think the Caps, as constructed and coached, are poised to go on a Sharks- and Senators-like run of playoff disappointments, but I am severely poisoned against them.

Senators made a Stanley Cup and only had a few real good years, so I wouldn't put them in the same category as the Sharks. I do hope you're right, though.
I just looked at the standings and the Senators have won 11 in a row in addition to the Caps winning 13 in a row. But the Penguins are still in good shape barring a collapse.
Kovalchuk is a free wheeling, one dimensional offensive player. Now he's going to NJ which plays a defensive trap and does so for the most defensive coach in NHL history. So does Jacque Lemaire force everyone on his team to trap except Kovalchuk? Or does he make Kovalchuk play the trap and make him far less dangerous?
The best part of waking up is not Folgers in your cup, but knowing that Chuck Norris didn't kill you in your sleep.
