Seriously, this hockey season is killing me. Being a Blues fan sucks right about now. I just can't even bring myself to watch the games, even though I really really want to because I missed hockey so much while it was gone and the games are very entertaining. Just not when I'm watching my team.
And now this week comes the selloff. I've been lucky enough to never have been a fan of a team going through this horrible of a season before. Well the Rams used to suck, but I became a fan when they sucked so anything good since has been gravy. But the Blues have always been there. Never winning it all, but always competitive. You could just count on them every year. Kinda like the Cardinals. And now this.
I hope Weight is serious in that he would like to come back and sign with St. Louis after this season. He really loves it here and I'll miss having him on the team.
Meanwhile, the Flames be shopping for a half-decent center and a back-up goalie, whilst Dion Phaneuf continues to impress and the team SOMEHOW is still in first place heading into February.

Well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Was there really that much difference between the Cardinals and the Rams this year?
As for Jeff....well at least he's good enough to beat Miami.
I'm not saying I've got it bad, being an FSU fan, Cards fan, or really Rams fan. But this is just crushing because of how long there were good.

That was one bad first-place team losing to the Blues last night.
I'm hoping things improve when I'm there to cheer the boys on tomorrow night against Columbus.

I'm there in the last game before the Olympics against the Blues. Hopefully Iginla shows up.

I was kinda leaning towards the Owner's side about a hard cap until I heard about the some $118 million dollars of "misplaced" revenue found by Forbes.
