It's an exciting, fast moving, aerobic mess of what looks like organised chaos but is in all likelihood highly drilled and structured with many nuanced rules and tactics.

Thats right on the power play. But the team with the disadvantage is allowed to hit the puck all the way down the ice with no penalty during it. Normally the pick would come back to your end for a face off near your net. So they have some help. A face off is like a scrum just a bit
