Yes, I know I am jinxing them, but 6 Runs in the 8th to overcome the Red Sox. What a game! I had all but given up hope last night. This thing could get closer yet!

So, the Yankees are after Game 1 where they would have been before Game 1 of the series had Torre not decided to use a September call-up to pitch the 9th in Toronto the evening before.
Now, onto the important stuff: Okajima has been a great story for most of the season. However, he's hit the wall, and it is time to go back to the only formula that has ever worked for the Red Sox: Timlin in the 8th, Williamson/Foulke/Papelbon in the 9th.

Not that A-Rod isn't a douche or that he's bringing more nonsense upon himself, but it seems pretty clear to me that MLB is trying its hardest to make A-Rod the major scapegoat of this whole thing.
