First post ever... just wanted to say thanks to CRZ. My IP was banned by mistake, I mailed him less than a few hours ago, and I can now read the forums again. Very speedy reply.

Perhaps he banned a certain range of addresses, and this person happened to fall inside of that range, hence being inadvertantly banned.

It does say "Randomly selected W of the Day:" so I think it really is random. I also remember that if you have a custom title, you are ineligible, though I believe I was once W of the Day before acquiring my custom title many years ago.
