Probably Venis. Venis and Razor were his two most notable feuds that are in the WWF now, and Hall just got back.
Meanwhile, Venis came back WITH Goldust, and has nothing to do right now anyway. They still have to resolve that whole Venis screwing Dustin's ex wife thingy. All Val got for it was a swift kick to the nuts if I remember correctly.
No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.
everyone assumes it's venis [porn STAR] or the rock [movie STAR]

Venis vs. Goldust? Man, this feud completely left my memory, I don't remember it at all. The only one I could remember him feuding with was Scott Hall, and I was pretty sure that Goldust wasn't going to be a part of the nWo storyline.
Does anyone feel like I do when Golddust comes onto the TV screen? Soon as the whole 24 karat productions thing comes up, I just about switch the channel to watch Ally McBeal or something.
I know I'm not repressing any pent-up homosexual fantasies or anything, so why do I hate that guy so much (the character, not the man)?
I've just never seen any redeeming qualities in the whole character.
MAN! Okay, I'm going to say it, Goldust has had some atrocious matches. But, dammit! The character is awesome. His promos do one thing each and every time and that's set up a mystery. "Who's he feuding with?" "Who's he talking about?" etc. And frankly, I find the character just plain stupid and funny in a good way. I have no problem with any guy that's moveset consists of strictly lowblows, eyepokes and bulldogs; especially when his promos make me think that much. I personally think it could be Rock, he's alluding to, but if it is Goldust is just going to get murdered. Venis isn't really established yet as a storyline guy, at least in my mind not enough to be the one he's talking about. It could be Flair, too. Dustin feuded with Flair, but never as Goldust, and it was minor as well (he played a part of the whole Dusty/Flair feud). He's not my favorite wrestler, but there's something about someone who cuts promos where I have to figure everyhting out, I like it, I think that's cool. It's like I'm batman. Without the cool car.
Jerry Jones: So what's it gona' be Deion? Fifteen, or twenty? Deion: I'll take both! ME: PRIMETIME!
I watch Dustin in the WCW, and he plays a boring redneck. He plays who he is.
How in the HELL is DUSTIN RHODES of all people able to transform himself into an awesome character like Goldust? What he lacks in the ring, Dustin MORE than makes up for in promo ability - even going WAY further than his father was capable of.
I DIDN'T think I'd say this, considering Mr. Perfect was one of the guys, but out of everyone who came back, Goldust is exciting me the most and is by far the most interesting.
Who's he talking about? Well - my guess IS the The Rock, considering Scorpion King is coming out soon. Actor vs. Actor seems like a match made in heaven to me.
Just a sick thought here. Maybe I'm sinking too far to the level of the average daytime talk show fan (which is probably not far below the level of the average WWF fan ), but now that Golddust is back, what would happen if he were to appear on Excess while Terri is co-hosting? While it might be tough on them, it might also be fascinating to viewers to watch just to see the train wreck happen from the awkward real-life relationship between the two.

They're still really close, and she's the one who pushed to get him signed back on as a member of the WWF.
I *don't* think there's many problems if she went to bat for him to be employed with HER.
Knowing the WWF, they also have no idea who Goldust is talking about yet.
I always found it really weird that Dustin Runnels wrestles such an old-school style. It works when playing himself (an old-school character), but doesn't really work at all when playing Goldust.
As for how he can play that part, I'm no actor, but it seems to me that the character that is easiest to play would be yourself. The character that would be second easiest would be the character that is the exact opposite of yourself. Plus the Goldust character doesn't really cal for any subtleties or anything, and acting really over-the-top isn't hard at all.

Okay. I'm not as tied in with the biz, so it was my understanding that they might not have been on the best of terms after the divorce. Well, that kills my idea, but it is good to hear that they're still close.

You think Dustin needs to be on Excess for Terri to cause a train wreck? You must not watch Excess. Why the hell doesn't Ivory have this job? Sorry if that's a little off topic...
I think Goldust is talking about the Rock. I think Goldust is a very interesting character, and I find his promos entertaining. I need to see him in the ring a little more before I decide if I like his work. I only started watching a couple of months before he left and don't remember much. Didn't he have beef with the Corporation (thus the Rock)? I'll have to check some CRZ recaps...
...[edit] okay, I checked on it, and the answer is no, he had no real corporate beef... He DID have fueds with Venis, Godfather and Al Snow, but I still think it's going to be the Rock this time around...
(Come to think of it, he hasn't had a match since his return. In the Rumble, he just avoided eliminatoin. No Shattered Dreams or anything. Let's wait until he has a real match to worry about his style in this incarnation, am I right?)
Hollywood movies work better for the character than Broadway musicals. There's a reason. Anyway, Goldust gives some of the best promos. I think Dustin only knows how to go over the top; whoever said his wCw promos weren't that great was dead on. Anyway, I'd rather have Goldust back than Goldberg, and I'm a friggin' wCw mark....
Razor (Rumble 96) PIPER (WM XII) Ahmed Johnson (KotR 96) Marc Mero (couple of PPV matches in (96) HHH! (hitting on Marlena, WM XIII) Brian Pillman (SS 97) Vader (Rumble 98) Then he went through that whole 'Find Jesus' the WWF is immoral stage...went back to Goldust Val Venis Jeff Jarrett He won the IC title again and then left the WWF in '99. Of course, he also had run ins w/ Austin, Undertaker, Foley, Warrior, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels...
Either way, if the WWF let's him go back to his 'old ways' of late '95, early '96, he'd be a perfect fit for Chuck and Billy.
Pat McNeil over at the Torch said in his column that a Goldust feud with The Rock would make lots of sense, and I agree. The tie-ins are obvious, and Goldust is the one character that could really push Rock's character to it's limits, creativity-wise. I mean, when the Rock comes out and says "Goldust, you sick ffffreak!", Goldust is just gonna smile and say "Yep, that's right - what'cha gonna do about it?" (well, not verbatim, but you get my drift). Could make for some interesting TV.
Until Omar pointed it out I was gonna mention he had a feud with HHH for a bit. Of course with HHH's status right now I doubt that's who he's talking about.
I'd be cool if it was The Rock (you sick fffffffffreak), but probably since he's never had a run-in with him before. It will more than likely be Venis, since Hall will also be in that 'untouchable' area right now because of the nWo thing. (And the fact that he hasn't shown up on our camera.) We KNOW it's not Terri because he has said 'he'.
What about the Godfather? Godfather took the IC title from him in '99 and Goldie was goon soon after.
No matter what it'll be a surprise to all of us when it's finally revealed.
Ugh, I hope it's not the godfather. I really see no reason why they brought him back. I was so pissed watching heat last night. He defeated Lance with the Shango Shoulder Breaker....THE SHANGO FRIGGIN' SHOULDERBREAKER?????? AHHHHHH! Lance jobs to the fat PIMP! Well, with the exception of the godfather, I am happy that Dustin, Perfect and Venis are back. I really think they should throw Val in with Team Canada, but it doesn't look like that's happening since they're going full on with the Porn Star thing (which is coming off as tired as when he abandoned it). For some reason I'm thinking Goldust may be out for Vince...Vince did take a few shots at Dustin on the last Nitro - Raw simulcast. I doubt it, but it makes as much sense as anything else.
They gotta bring these back!!!: "talk to the hand because the man don't understand." - "The Crippler" Chris Benoit "...and that is the LAST WORD." - "The Big Nasty" Paul Wight and of course: "Don't hate the playa...HATE THE GAME~!" - WCW World Champion Booker T
The problem with the Goldust/Rock theory is ... when are they going to resolve the feud? It's looking like Rock/Taker for No Way Out -- and no way in hell are they going to do Rock/Goldust at Wrestlemania, unless Dustin has suddenly improved a thousandfold. If Rocky just squashes Goldust on Raw or Smackdown, it won't do much for Goldust's heat, in which case why bother hiring him and giving him all that TV time? Is Goldust just going to cut enigmatic promos for three months, until Backlash? Not bloody likely.
