The opening to this episode was Sue Sylvester venturing into cartoonish villainy (as opposed to cartoonish supervillainy, of course). Total awesome and I loved every bit of Principal Sue Sylvester, especially her war on junk food.
Gwyneth Paltrow fits in perfectly on this show. I wouldn't mind seeing her turn up more often. Although, I won't lie, her rendition of Cee-Lo's "Fuck You" made me pine for the original. (Won't you click the link and support The W?)
The cuts to the kids getting shot down by Will in favor of Journey songs were hilarious.
Music choices didn't do it for me this week. They can't all be gems, I guess.
THIS WEEK'S AMAZON SONG LIST Fuck You by Cee-Lo Green (Original)(Glee) Make 'Em Laugh from "Singin In The Rain" (Original)(Glee) Nowadays from "Chicago" / Hot Honey Rag from "Chicago" (Original/Original)(Glee) Singing in the Rain from "Singin In The Rain" / Umbrella by Rihanna (Original/Original)(Glee)
Green Lantern's a film I sincerely hope they don't screw up. Especially with the revival the series has had throughout the decade. If you've missed Geoff Johns's run, you are truly missing out.
