While Johnny O is MIA. I will take up the challenge to get us to what I fear will be a bitter unsatisfactory ending. Yet, still better than Lost though. So, episode one is our big reunion episode. Jon/Arya is the best one as they exchange weapons and a hint of a possible Stark betrayal. Minus Cersei banging Euron and Yara getting saved. It's a very Jon centric episode where he rides a dragon, gets Winterfell pissed at him and finds out who he is at the same time being freaked out he has banged his aunt. The other plus is Bran meeting Jamie and all the beautiful gifs and memes from it
Episode Two maybe their best episode since Danny murdered all those Lannisters. Jamie is put on trial and saved by Brie. We get a great warroom scene where a legit plan is made to stop the Night King by using Bran as bait. Honestly, my favorite scene in anything is people sitting around a table and hashing things out. After that, we get everyone thinking they are going die and doing the things they want to do. The Lannisters get everyone drunk, Greyworm and Missy make plans to get out of Whitefell, the Night's Watch boys say good bye, Sansa spends time with a returned Theon, Arya bangs Gendry, Brie finally gets knighted, Podrick sings, Ser Jerc gets Hearthstone and Jon comes clean to Danny. The last one not the best idea idea as Danny seems legit freaked by it. And then our drunk heroes are interrupted by the army of the Dead.
As foreboding as this episode was, we still have three more episodes til Cersei kills the survivors of this battle.
Poor Heller. I can understand not wanting to drag the Presidency down any lower then it is, but to screw it up by letting his daughter (probably) get killed kinda sucks. Novick has really gotten on the ball this season.
