We got two today!

At 0930, Orlando @ Detroit - Detroit's got the big MO but in deference to FLEA, I'll root for the Magic. But really, who cares who wins this series, anyway? It's not like there are any Nets fans around, ah ah ah

And at 1230, Portland @ Dallas - I hate Nelly, so GOOOOO BLAZERS - GET THAT MAN FIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRED ...plus, Game 1 of the next series would be in Sacramento if the Blazers win instead of Dallas

Well you know something, Mean Gene...

Orlando @ Detroit...I'll cheer for the Pistons, but I don't really care about this series.

Portland @ Dallas...Just because my favorite NBA team is from Texas doesn't mean I cheer for every other NBA Texas team. Hell, I like to see the team of crackheads be the first ones to overcome an 0-3 deficit and send the Mavs packing. Think Mark Cuban will fire the whole team if that happens?

Edit - CRZ: So are you cheering for the Spurs to knock off the Lakers or cheering for the Lakers because that would give the Kings homecourt in the conf finals if they get past Dallas/Portland?

Why would it matter if there are any Swamprat fans around. They're going down in 6 to the boys in Green.

I hate Swamprats. Payback for the Celts against the team led by a wifebeater/child abuser (he did break his kids collarbone in public). And 12 wins until Banner #17.

In my heart of hearts, I want the Kings to be the ones to knock out the Lakers; however, I plan on staying neutral... at least through Game 1. We'll see how it goes from there.

Congrats to Detroit, who beat Orlando 108-93.

As for Portland-Dallas, I couldn't care less since the Kings will beat whoever wins today.

Yep, Walker's going to bring that 28% shooting that he had against Martin during the season and dominate right? And Delk is not as good as Kenny Anderson, who couldn't stop Kidd last year. But don't worry, maybe you'll have a massive comeback like last year to hang your hat on again.

So CRZ...during the "Rock Concert" a few weeks ago, when Rocky said LA would knock Sacramento out again, what was your reaction? :-)

Still on the Cinco de Mayo buzz, are we?

I ended up not watching Game 1 so I still don't find myself rooting for or against either team. Of course, you EXPECT the home team to win....right?

The Spurs had lost 5 straight at home in the playoffs to the Lakers, so actually winning a home game is a shocker at this point. But, to give the Spurs some credit, they really did everything in their power to give the game away in the last 2 minutes.

CRZ: At 0930, Orlando @ Detroit - Detroit's got the big MO but in deference to FLEA, I'll root for the Magic

Thanks! (like it helped) :-)...I have to jump on SOMEONE'S bandwagon now, and it might as well be the Kings - if only for the fact that a Cuban vs. Kobe Sportscenter blowjob festival would...well, GO KINGS~! (and no, I have no faith in SA or Duncan...SHAQ will end up shoving the MVP trophy down their throats (again)

By the way - the question at the moment here in Orlando is which is worse, getting swept or blowing a 3-1 lead. A better question is who is going to get kicked out of town first - Doc, Grant or GM Gabriel. Jury is OUT!

Doc Rivers should be the one getting shown the door in Orlando. All he has ever shown is he's a 43 win coach who gets knocked out in the first round every year. Funny, isn't it, that Doc Rivers and Isiah Thomas; both of whom have publicly stated that Larry Bird was overrated because he was white, have never won a playoff series as a coach. And, in Doc's case, never won anything in his life.

What in the hell do their comments about Larry Bird have to do with anything at all? I'm still trying to figure out why you even said that.

You can add Quinn Buckner and Doug Collins to the "sound smart on TV but fail at the real job" fraternity. Matt Millen is chairman of the NFL branch.
