A lot of this episode was Family Guy going back to being funny, rather than hammering me with some random concept. The exchange between Stewie and the Canadian drunk was a highlight for me. Also loved the return of Robot Brian and Robot Stewie (along with a ton of new robots).
Then came the actual segment with Brian and Stewie as Santa. The scene at the first house was the first time in a long time that I can remember that we had a segment like this that started out funny, went on too long, then kept going to come all the way back around to being funny again.
I didn't know if Family Guy had an episode like this in them, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a great Christmas episode and one of the better FG episodes of the last few years. It managed to keep a lot the show's good humor and had a really heartwarming ending. Thumbs WAY up for me on this one.

Sorry for starting a new thread but the other thread became one about Carnivale, so I made a judgment call. Sorry Audrey, Jack hasn't done "love" in about 5 years. Oh wait, he thinks he's falling in love with her? Who the hell is this?
