WWE is so creatively brain dead, it's embarrassing. But it's almost a blessing for the wrestlers that they want to save money and cut costs and release you now instead of having you sit at home. It's obvious they never cared for Morrison or his wife, just wanted them off the market. Both could've done so much more but never got the chance.
Hit Row..I liked Swerve, but hated it when he got the entourage. they felt forced. But they just throw him out along with the rest.
I don't think these cuts are going to end soon. Next up, Legado del Fantasmo (Escobar is a superstar and they hardly use him anymore) and probably everyone who has been here for 2+ years and doesn't fit the generic superstar mold.
You know, when HHH still had a heavy hand in these decisions, you at least got the impression that he genuinely loved wrestling. Sure, there are a lot of potential problems and concerns with his vision of a global wrestling monopoly with WWE on top, but you could believe that HE felt like it was going to be good for the industry. Nick Khan just doesn't care. These are numbers on a spreadsheet to him, and if he thinks they can run two shows with a dozen people, that's what he's going to cut the roster down to. It's disheartening.
It's dumbfounding what this company is doing (aside from driving me to watch that other Khan guy's show).
Hit Row had a truly unique and current gimmick that could *gasp* appeal to younger viewers and fans. So they bring them to SD!, give them plenty of hype, lay off one of their members and then dump the whole faction in a matter of weeks?
As I saw someone else tweet, Tegan gave both her knees for that company.
