Agreed, the show was MUCH better this week. Hopefully they continue to tweak it though.
Nacho Libre was laugh out loud funny, and this is the perfect role for Sandman, because he can't really go in the ring like he used to (although he looks like he is in good shape).
Test returns? Bleh.
They should just get these Raw guys off of the show so they can establish their own identity. The less Raw and SD! are mentioned, the better, except for Tazz taking shots at "sports entertainment".
Count me in as a renewed member of the Sabu fan club. He has really brought the goods, even back in TNA earlier this year. After Sunday, Sabu can say that he wrestled John Cena AND Samoa Joe on PPV this year. Not bad.

Like the vast majority of you, I really thought the show was much better. However, I still don't like the Sandman vs. Wrestlecrap segments.

And I'm ready for WWE to cut the cord and see if ECW can go on with out an "invasion" of RAW superstars. Hopefully, the post-Vengenace show will be just that.

Why does she have to be more than that? It's a nice change of format from the other shows.

Actually, I highly doubt they're going to stop this post-Vengeance. I'm assuming they'll do the same thing with Smackdwon until their PPV, then after Summerslam, I can see them moving on without so much WWE stuff going on.

Also: Test?

For the love of God, we'll never hear the end of it from Canukia's own Testicle: BrewGuy.

Don't go putting Boobarella down by comparing her to a former pirate wench recap gypsy.

In case your wondering Boobarella is a porn movie starring Tiffany Towers and Staci Vaughn and actually pretty damn good lez film. There are several different "Boobarella" porn films but anyway...

But a boobalicious recap is OK in my book, and my pants. While we are on the subject of boobs...Kelly isn't even hot so I'm all for that guy covering her up and getting back to EXTREME wrestling. I mean T&A sure but a weekly "exhibitionist" is stupid Now if Kimona Wanalaya were dance atop the SD! arena every week I'm in but Kelly is no Kimona.

Well, if you're expecting the new ECW brand to be like the old ECW company, then you might as well give up now. It's not gonna' happen. The key to enjoying the new show is to realize that it's not ECW. It's a third WWE brand that just happens to have those initials.

I missed the first 10 minutes of the show due to, uh, stuff.

But, the rest of the show was entertaining enough. Much better pacing, which makes a world of difference.
The 'Macho Libre' thing wasn't that funny, but was the first Randy Savage mention on WWE broadcast in seemingly forever. But, what'd that guy do to get blackballed, screw Steph or something? Sheesh.

Nice promo from Rob.

They really should bill Kelly as the World's Worst Stripper.

Crowd seemed a bit livelier and the main event was good. I just read on 411 (who I'm sure got it from somewhere reputable) that Orton is okay and good to go for Sunday. So good for him.

Ratings should be lower due to fall-off from the 1st week and the Heat clinching the title. Hopefully, that won't be used as an excuse to curtail Heyman's influence.

The show wasn't like a complete departue from Week 1, but they did work out some of the kinks.

Ah, you two have doubts. I have my fingers crossed that they can put the ole child chemistry set together to give more of the old appeal. Yeah, so far we haven't seen the never ending near fall wrestling ECW style matches or crowds. The two ONS PPV's actually had that aura to it.

First, soon enough, they will not be touring without Smackdown which should really improve some crowd issues. Yes, that is basically after Vengeance.

Secondly, already said here and other place, the new introduction of ECW talent. The old guys who made ECW what is was in it's hey day are wearing thin. Sabu might be the only exception because I still wouldn't wouldn't want to run into him a dark alley. He gives off that legit feeling of crazy, dangerous, and weird all at the same time. Hey it's not the Sabu saying but it's close enough.

Third, as shed a tear, please work out some way possible for Sandman get "Enter Sandman". I'm sold on ECW being around yet I still want some, just some, of that feel from the first time around. You know, like eating something the first time and really liking it. Thus you want it again. I hunger an older feel ECW. I probably won't totally get it.

Boy the people on Wikipedia are quick. Apparently Nacho Libre was (former?) ROH star Tony DeVito.

Urban legend has it that that's exactly what he did, with Steph being underage at the time (around 14 has been oft-quoted) to boot.

Bullshit or not? We'll never know for sure.

Like he actually hit it, or just hit on her/tried to? I've heard both.

And when would this have happened exactly? Macho wasnt fired or anything, his contract expired and he jumped to WCW. And after he left, didnt Vince wish him well & say nice things about him on RAW (about a week before the Billionaire Ted/NachoMan skits started)? So was this "incident" suppoosed to have happened while he was still under contract?

First person I can remember doing those was Koko Ware. he started in Memphis when I was watching it and it was just amazing to see him stand right in front of a guy and get horizontal with his nose..... Always liked watching drop kicks like that....

My assumption, if indeed anything actually happened, has always been that it happened, Mach left for WCW, and then Vince found out, maybe even years later.

Like all good urban legends, the details vary depending on who's telling the story.

Stephanie was born in September 1976, which would put her deflowering anywhere from 1990-1 (the oft-quoted age 14) to 1994-5 (age 18, the high end of what's been rumored). Savage left the WWF in late 1994.

If he did hit it or attempt to hit it, nothing says that Vince had to know about it right when it happened. It could've come to his attention after Savage was on WCW's payroll.

Could it have happened? Sure. Did it actually happen? We'll never know. Is it likely to have happened? Reply hazy, ask again later.

That's kind of hot, actually.

Anyway, apparently CM Punk is debuting on an ECW house show this weekend (sayeth Big Daddy Scherer). Very cool, hopefully Punk makes it to TV soon.

This is probably considered sacrilege, but they should change his name. (Because it's ECW, they won't, though.) I've always thought "CM Punk" was a truly bad wrestling name and totally indified.

I actually like the name "CM Punk" ... to me, it's better that something like "Gunnar Scott".

If anyone needs a name change, it's Kid Kash (like 5 years ago).

Dude, normally at a time like this I'd bag your camera, but you know... Hogan looks so bad in this that (As a DDP mark would say) "It's not a bad thing... " Personally, I'm not nostalgic, I'm sick of the guy.
