DON'T ZOOM IN ON THE GUY WHILE HE'S CUTTING HIMSELF although that was the fastest zoom out I've seen in a long while
Nice visual at the end (although they will need some judicious editing for use in later clips - you could kinda see the cage wall swaying out just before the collision)
Boy they sure don't make tables like they used to.
STEVIE RICHARDS! You're still alive! Good to see ya, buddy!
The new opening montage is potentially worthy of analysis...by someone else
Extreme Expos is neither extreme nor an expos - discuss
I know I should mention the big big tag team match...if only I could remember anything about it - oh yeah, that cool move of Kevin Thorn's has a name now...probably did before and I wasn't paying attention
Joey should have busted out one of those really great OO MA GA! calls he used to do
And that's all that happened - as far as you know. You didn't even watch it!
I don't like having a cage match then giving it a 5 minute time limit, but I guess they are serious about Lashley if they are going to give him a clean pin over Holly in under 4 minutes 30 seconds. I was expecting a last second dash for the pin.
The cage spot was fine, but would have been better had the roles been reversed. A crazy Umaga crashing through the cage would have been a cooler visual.
I'm sure there is more but I backed into my stair rail and knocked my Tom Brady bobblehead staight down and his head popped off.
I was going back and forth between this show and WSX, but what I saw of ECW I didn't mind. I had to watch the end of the cage match though versus the infamous X-Pac/Vampiro "fireball" incident. I think it shows that while WSX is more fun, I knew none of it really means anything. It's not leading to anything important.
Instead of WSX, I'm watching a guy that is unimpressive (Lashley) against my least favorite guy in the WWE (Holly). The last visual was pretty impressive and a perfect way to end the show. The tag match was okay as well.

I think that would've been a little too awesome and made Umaga a babyface. Instead Lashley got to be cool. That was pretty swell and never done before (offensively) AFAIK.
That was the most Extreme Expose yet -- a DOUBLE backflip.

HA! I say that about ALL of them every week. They all seem to never be in sync!
Do you think God knew what He was doing when He created woman? Huh? No shit. I really wanna know. Or do you think it was another one of His minor mistakes like tidal waves, earthquakes, FLOODS? You think women are like that? S'matter? You don't think God makes mistakes? Of course He does. We ALL make mistakes. Of course, when WE make mistakes they call it evil. When GOD makes mistakes, they call it... nature. So whaddya think? Women... a mistake... or DID HE DO IT TO US ON PURPOSE?
The cage spot worked for me because it came completely out of the blue. Wasn't expecting it at all. I also liked that they didn't resort to the last-second pin. They're clearly doing everything they can to make Lashley seem like a serious threat.
Thanks for coming, Stevie! You're still one of the most misused guys in the business.

His pin of Holly was more impressive is we remember that Holly cleanly pinned RVD a few weeks back. I really wanna see this WM match now. If it's no-DQ (and why would Vince want it to be fought under normal rules?), they could steal the show with further Lashley stunts.
