Jack Swagger"s in ring promo brings down Teddy Long with Tiffany then Ricky Ortiz. Ortiz believes He should be the #1 contender for the ECW title 'cuz He's even more undefeated . He must have read my recent post as he too calls Jack "Thwagger." This leads to...
Jack Swagger Vs. Ricky Ortiz. Finally a reason for me to be on team Swagger! Too bad it wasn't a "You're Fired!" match because The All American American disposes of Ortiz quite Properly.

Mark Henry w/ Tony Atlas (on Ramp) berates Finaly w/ Hornswaggle (in ring) leading to a tag team match next week.

MVP bitches and whines while Teddy and Tiff share laughs at his expense.

DJ Gabriel (w/ Alicia Foxx) vs. Local Jobber. Squash and now is time on ECW when we dance.

Matt Hardy (ECW Champ) Vs. MVP. Decently longish match where MVP (who had to sell his bling since he didn't live up to the incentive clauses in his contract) can't hit the Playmaker and jobs to a Side Effect into a Twist of Fate. Matt is champ, Porter is a chump and Stryker continues to rule the WWE Universe.

That was Josh Daniels getting squashed. A quick search of the Internet says he was also squashed by Swagger back in September. He's no James Curtis!

I wonder what this MVP de-push is leading to? It really has me intrigued.

It can't lead to anything good. Severely de-pushing one of the more talented people on your roster cannot possibly lead to anything good.

Hopefully it leads to Momma Porter showing up to set her boy straight!

Personally, I'm sort of hoping it leads to a big face turn for MVP. Maybe do a backstage segment where Vicky says she doesn't want to have to pay the incentive and therefore screws him over by having him booked in unwinnable handicap matches and having Edge come out and screw him over in varoius ways. Then all you have to do is have MVP knock her out of her wheelchair with the Driveby kick to a big pop and PRESTO-face turn. Then maybe you could go with Edge/MVP for your Rumble title match. Of course, they won't do this.

As for the show itself, eh. It seems lately as if there is one really good match and then a bunch of not that good stuff. I look forward to a Matt Hardy/Jack SWAGGAH match. I REALLY miss Evan Bourne. And Ricky Ortiz really should be sent back to developmental.

Something feels dirty about having a man turn face by physically attacking a woman (if she is a heel). Maybe it's just me.

Sure, it'll be a big pop, but it would be much more memorable (and probably bigger) if Undertaker hadn't already Tombstoned her about 7 times already.

Insert witty and/or amusing saying or phrase here.

Well, as Spank E said, Takers given the Tombstone to the woman a few times and there wasn't a lot made of that.

And I probably wouldn't have done that either. But Taker was already a face when it happened instead of TURNING face by doing it to her...slight difference, but again, still doesn't make it right.

I don't watch ECW often, but I love the commentary team of Striker/Grisham. They actually try and point our reason why every match is important for the people in it.

Also I think Jack Swagger will be a big player in the future.

There was a "JR" sign that I really liked, but I don't remember it now. Oh, and of course the initial "STOP THE PAIN" sign. You would have thought that Aksana using a movie reference would score her some points with Goldust....
