I missed half the show, but there is no thread yet so here is my second half of the show thoughts.
It seems a little early for the New Breed to be having problems and teasing breakup. They are just starting to get their feet under them and really should be allowed to go longer as a coheasive unit. Although, the Vampire in the group never really made a lot of sense. The match wasn't really much, but I guess the Major Brothers were cute.
I like Vince in a Do-Rag, but his promo was pretty weak for a Vince on top of the world promo. His avoidence of Sabu was pretty funny though.
The Fourway Dance wasn't nearly as good as the 8 man brawl a month ago, but it was still fun to see these four out there hitting each other with crap. A pretty nice wipe out spot to end the match.
Next week we can all read between the lines of the Vince/RVD match and predict the future.
Burke was making the claim that CW Punk "used" the New Breed to advance his own agenda. Exactly what agenda did CW Punk advance? I am not sure what Punk gained by his brief membership with the New Breed, so I'm not really getting the storyline. Am I missing something?

The show started with Lashley out, demanding his rematch - NOW - AA Estrada came out in a wheelchair, and said that he'd get it, just not tonight.. but if Lashley puts his hands on Umaga or either McMahon without provocation between now and then, he forfeits the rematch. Lashley then made Estrada regret not adding his own name to the list. Crowd actually seems to be getting behind the former champ a bit.
Punk came out for a match against the New Breed, Burke sent Thorn (with Ariel) against him, but there was no extra curricular help. Punk wins with the GTS (Go To Sleep) throw into his knee. Backstage, Burke blames Thorn for not getting the job done, Thorn quits the New Breed.
The Majors Brothers certainly looked like developmental talent, certainly not like the typical indy job squad-ders. And they beat Cor Von and Stryker on a crossbody from the second rope. Matt was pinned, and got verbally berated by Burke at ringside afterward.
Vince then came out, and eventually offered the winner of an Extreme Rules, Fatal Four-way between the ECW Originals a title shot next week. RVD wins by pinning Sandman after a frog splash. Sandman was out of it after Dreamer superplexed Sabu onto Sandman, through a table. I was disappointed when Vince made a big deal out of calling it an ECW-style "Four-way Dance", but it turned out to not to be elimination rules.
So it's not yet clear who will be Vince's challenger (presumably) at the next PPV, but you have that, and possibly the Punk/Burke match to build toward. If you get past that the show is relatively unimportant in the WWE scheme of things, it's been some fairly entertaining television the last month or so, imo - although Lance Storm has a point about overdoing the gimmick matches.

I think they are going for "Burke watching the New Breed crumble around him, and getting more paranoid by the day." Agreed that Punk hasn't gained anything, but then Burke is probably more interested in distracting his faction from figuring out that it was his idea to bring Punk into the group in the first place.
For Punk's motivation, it looks like he just was tired of Burke putting him on the spot to decide. So he "joins" the New Breed, but immediately undermines Burke's leadership role, and turns on him. For now it appears that he's a lone wolf again, only with a logical feud he didn't have four weeks ago.
Could be the writers got cold feet about a Punk heel turn, or that it was just a red herring to pass a couple of hours of television - or maybe protecting themselves against RVD going bye bye. If they can string it along a bit longer, I can see where you could turn it around where Punk gets Thorn, Cor Von, and Striker to defect to his leadership, and Burke is a heel out in the cold.
Maybe just a bit more fantasy booking than necessary, but it's possible that CM Punk wanted to rebuild the New Breed in his image and not Elijah's, so it he got into all their heads (talk of thinking for yourself, getting Thorn to quit, etc) and is just watching them slowly leave Burke.

Actually given the way Hunter glanced at Flair, I was wondering if he was supposed to go to the figure four initially instead of that indian deathlock. He sort of fumbled with it, almost like he wrapped RVD's leg around the wrong side.....
