I really love the NFL draft. I know the order is not totally set just yet, but I think just the bottom of the draft is left. As far as I can figure out from the final standing, here is the top ten:
1. Houston
2. Carolina
3. Detroit
4. Buffalo
5. Minnesota
6. Dallas
7. San Diego
8. Indianapolis
9. Kansas City
10. Cincinnati
Who is everyone going to take? I think the top prospects to go in these spots are David Carr, Joey Harrington, Bryant McKinnie, Julius Peppers,Roy Williams, Quentin Jammer, and Wendell Bryant. Ok, so that's only 8. Let me know what you guys think.

I thought the order was... 1. Houston 2. Carolina 3. Detroit 4. Buffalo 5. San Diego 6. Dallas 7. Minnesota 8. Kansas City 9. Jacksonville 10. Cincinnati
Could be wrong though, but anyway, I think top 5 is probably 1. David Carr, Harrington will probably go 4 since Buffalo wants to get rid of Rob Johnson. Second, Third, and Fifth will probably be Bryant McKinnie, Julius Peppers and John Henderson, not necessarily in that order. Mike Pearson (OT, Florida) is probably a top 10 pick. Gaffney from Florida could go in the top 10 also, probably either him or Antonio Bryant will be the first receiver, one will probably be top 10 and the other still making the top 15. Ed Reed could maybe be in the top 10 also. And then Roy Williams, Quentin Jammer and Wendell Bryant could be in there somewhere too as you mentioned.
teams w/ tied records use the same tie breakers for the playoffs...the "loser" of the tiebreaker gets the early draft # and the "winner" gets the later draft #
there was one thing to think about...i was WISHING the lions went 0-16 because it would be the only time that a team did that, PLUS, they wouldn't have gotten the first pick in the next draft, as you know the Texans get it no matter what...

David Carr shouldn't be taken #1. Most scouts don't view him as a top 10 ten pick. If Houston wants him, they should trade down.
Here's an interesting note: Mel Kiper's mock draft; he has the packers taking a QB with the 29th pick. Yes, the packers need to start grooming a QB, but not when they need a WR and DT.

I heard that Carr was doing great, too. I was glad to see my man Kittner play pretty well at the Senior Bowl. Maybe he will get a good spot in the draft.

Looks like my Bears will have somewhere between the 25-28th postition. Hopefully we can get...what? A quarterback? I don't think the great ones will be left on the board by then. Maybe a passrushing DE, or a DB to replace the probably departing Walt Harris. Besides, we got our best draft pick (Anthony Thomas) in the 2nd round last year.
