As someone who actually plays the bongos, I find this gam einteresting. But one question; do any of you know if there is a freestyle mode where you can just jam away?

The only "jam" mode is that where you play the songs from the game, just not in any sort of timed or competitive environment. It may be possible to just not pay attention to the song and play your own stuff, the way the description of this mode was worded in the game info does not make it too clear.

Yeah! We got the Wii version for xmas mostly for our son since he's too young to know what he's doing and it was cheaper and we figured Nintendo stuff holds up better over time.
