Wow. Indiana 30, No. 24 Oregon 24, how do you like these apples?
Wasn't able to watch it, though-- in addition to having to go to work, I don't think the game was even on local TV.
But anyway, go Hoosiers! Here's hoping that the last--

On the same subject, here's my favorite IU football joke. “How do you keep an IU football player off your lawn?” “Put up a goal post.”
But we beat Oregon, bi-otch~! So I'll give the IU jokes a rest for now.
On the other hand, I last made that joke on Friday at the bar, and the next day they won, so... hmm. Decisions, decisions.

Yikes. I initially had UK beating IU in my pre-season predictions. I think we'll only win 2 games this year now. This is going to be a loooooong season.
Of course, I apologize for hijacking your thread to lament about the 'Cats, so congrats to the Hoosiers. You and my next-door neighbor should be much happier this season.
P.S. - Does this mean I can't call him DiNerd-O anymore? Naaah.

While I think it might make plays more exciting and (as you said) games shorter, a block in the back is so dangerous because the person being blocked doesn't see it coming. Even if it's above the waist, legs and ankles can be easily broken.
