Well, I am sure this clears the way for another crappy Indiana Jones movie. Maybe he'll fight zombies this time.

There's still time to add him to Hickman's SHIELD series. I think. I can't remember if it ever ended.

It's another boy-demo franchise for Disney to pursue, and if they can make this work where John Carter and Lone Ranger didn't, that's good for everyone. I'm glad someone still sees it as a viable commodity.

I would love to see Disney make actual serialized adventures, either as an online series or a mini-feature before their movies playing in theatres.

Despite your meaning here, and despite the issues with the prequels of the other famous franchise Disney recently acquired, I think that recasting a young actor and doing prequel adventures of new Ph.D. Dr. Indiana Jones as he builds his reputation for antique theft and grave robbery is the most exciting thing you can do with the films.

Agreed. It is perhaps the ONLY thing you can do. Anything else would be atrociously bad and painful.

Life is hilariously cruel.

Or make a new one with Harrison and have Mutt die...that would be a hit.
