Im sad to see him go. Derek was great way before the .4 shot. I remember how he destroyed the sixers in the finals a few years ago from 3. I was kinda hoping to see payton get traded for a big man so that Fisher could start but at least he is getting his. I dont think anyone in LA thought that Fish would get a $37 million contract.

I hope A) they get rid of that worthless bum Devean George, or B) they keep him, but he does a lot better this year under the new "Run & Gun" direction the team seems to be heading in.

I'd fall in love with the Knicks again if they got Van Exel... maybe even trade some filler (or even *gasp* Allan Houston) for Artest and Bender. Dump his huge salary, give Bird a guy who can shoot and an heir apparent to the aging Reggie Miller.
