Turns out I DID want them to win! And, in the most Minnesotan way possible, they managed to eke out an overtime victory.
Game 3 is - geez, a week from tomorrow. Nice schedule! The Timberwolves have helpfully informed me that they'll put a sizable charge on my card for my ticket to all three potential first round home games on Monday. I am amused by their optimism as I can't possibly see this series stretching out to a Target Center Game 6. (BUT! I've been wrong before...)
Absolutely. I'm also of the belief that ABC should let Ernie, Jet and Chuck do the studio shows for the NBA Finals. It'd be better than the stiffs they've got doing it now. My favorite line so far this postseason?
