(CRZ, I apologize for posting so many new threads lately, but apparently it's Christmas time in crazy news world, so I can't help myself!)
I knew something had to be up when I saw "Delonte" was a trending topic on Twitter. Fearing the worst, mostly due to Delonte West's well-publicized mental health issues and his penchant for strolling around town armed to the teeth, I hit the news wire.
And as if that wasn't salacious, outlandish, and hilarious enough, according to that article many of the rumors have been suggesting that LeBron found out right before Game 5. As the story goes, that would explain (at least in part) what the hell was going on with him that night.
I speculated to a friend earlier today that maybe somebody threatened his family or something and that shook him up and caused him to go all fetal position on us. Never in a trillion years would I have guessed THIS though.
Of course these are all rumors, but where's the fun in acknowledging that?
deadspin, which one would think would embrace this kind of rumor, has a post dismissing it out of hand.
Of course, after the john terry-wayne bridge story this year (and confirmations years after the fact about the US Men's soccer team rumor), nothing is impossible.
Yeah, get back to me when something comes on that topic from a credible news source.

I don't get any of this post. The Celtics have won a few titles. If you mean this core, they can still win it while West is a Cav.
West was in the trade that gave Boston Ray Allen and Glen Davis, which helped them win a title. If this story is true and it caused LeBron to lose focus, it could help them win a 2nd title due to trading West, as West wouldn't have been traded from Seattle to Cleveland if he hadn't been traded by Boston to Seattle.
