Andre Davis (WR) has been traded to the New England Patriots, pending Davis passing a physical. Word is the Browns are getting a conditional 2nd-day draft pick next year in return.

Goddammit, will everyone stop giving all their good players to the Patriots already?! I guess the Browns (like the Bengals last year) figured they weren't gonna have to suffer the consequences, since they're not getting into the playoffs anyway.
Why can't the Colts improve their lineup by sending someone a conditional second-day draft pick in exchange for somebody who can actually play defense?

Actually, Davis is in the last year of his contract, and was getting buried beneath Bryant, Northcutt, and Edwards. once Josh Cribbs showed he was *stellar* at the kickoff game, Davis' duties were no longer necessary.
Seriously though - watch out for Cribbs this year. He's gonna be a hell of a kick returner. He's got great speed and he has been making lots of hungry players miss.
