Hey, congrats to Dave! It's about time. But IMO the more important (and depressing) news is that Winnie Copper got hitched (buzz.yahoo.com). I think many of the men on this board would agree with me that she was one of our top childhood crushes and that this is a sad day indeed.

She's not only a math nerd, but she spends her time writing books about making math fun. Winnie Cooper might have written the math book your kid will use.
My teacher-wife* bought a couple of her books: Math Doesnt Suck and Kiss My Math. One of her younger co-workeks had no idea who the girl on the cover was and we felt really old

She was at the Today Show a little while back and she walked right past me and I couldn;t believe how much she still looks like Winnie and also, how incredibly good looking she still is.
"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."
This week's episode of "The Ultimate Fighter" focused on a dispute over UFC hats and t-shirts. A light heavyweight was eliminated, a middleweight switched teams, and now everyone hates Sam Hoger.
