Indiana Pacers' All-Star forward Danny Granger, injured in the third quarter of the Pacers' road loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday,
will miss 4-6 weeks with a torn plantar fascia in his right foot.
Oh boy, as if the Pacers (losers of ten of their last eleven games now, and at 6-13, dead last in the Central) weren't in enough trouble as it is, now we lose our go-to guy and the undisputed leader of our team. This is considerably worse than when we lost Al Harrington for an entire season about seven years ago.
Hate to give up on a season while we're still in early-to-mid-December, but right now it looks like we're headed for a fourth-straight season missing the playoffs. (Maybe we'll get a decent draft pick?)
