(I don't believe in disabling retweets for an account...I'll either follow them or I won't. I'm relieved to have finally made it here so I can unfollow this account.)
I'm a total believer in disabling RTs because of accounts just like this - I'd rather find a way to get the 4 useful posts a week out of them than abandoning them totally. But then I also use Tweetdeck (and Plume) instead of the regular Twitter, there's already a lot of power filter options to help me avoid some of the noise (though oddly not the turn of RT function) so altering people's feeds doesn't seem that odd to me.
(What they're specifically doing here is annoying and comes off as desperately trying to build an audience. I'd complain about it again but then they'd create another parody tumbler account.)
HOLY SHIT MIKE McGUIRK IS ON TWITTER (but she doesn't tweet much at all, sadly)
I spent like seven hours driving yesterday - GPS did a great job of giving me a tour of Milwaukee and it looks better in the day - and listened to her Figure Four interview from a while back. It's really interesting - there are good old stories there and definite feelings about how her son was treated in NXT - but it's also amazing for the long unfocused monologues she goes into. I don't remember what Bryan asked to start the show, but I do remember it was about 8 minutes later where he got in another word. This Twiter account looks much different. Not alone worth paying for but worth looking for when she inevitable works the PodcastOne circuit.
I was excited to see UNKLE on Twitter, except they don't tweet much - given that it's almost all promotion, that's probably for the best, though
— Mika Riglin (@mikajanel)
James' - wife, right? Wife? Shoot, I should know this. Well, she's never tweeted. (Also, she's not a cat - I have heard - I still have my suspicions) At least three of her five followers post here.
I LOVE KNIFE PARTY - but I'm sad I ended up with a political tweet to share with you because all their other tweets are not political and are awesome. Buy their album!

Back when I retweeted one of their ads featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, I guess I gave them enough juice for them to offer me "a gift!" but in order to get them my address, I ended up having to follow them to send them a Direct Message. The gift turned out to be a tank top (size L, which for me is a little too S) which I have never worn and a "#BBQ4MERICA PULLED PORK FOR THE PEOPLE" rubber bracelet, which I AM wearing. I think I can unfollow them now. That burger DOES look pretty good, though.
By the way, a long time ago I followed McDonald's but they ended up pissing me off with one of their gimmicks so I unfollowed them and never looked back. I can't remember if I ever followed Taco Bell or not, but I definitely don't now. I guess I'm done with fast food accounts? Wow, I feel the weight dropping already!
Flash back, me at age 5 in my race car. Just want to say that hard work, determination and never giving up has... http://t.co/3LTu8wSxpy
My most recent follow is one last Roseville account - this one's pretty cool with lots of ideas for things to do although they have not yet gotten me to leave the house and drive all the way to Roseville. Maybe one day...
WE'RE DONE Y'ALL - my final total after it's all said and done is 543. Hmmm, what'd I start with? (checks) Hmm, I didn't note it. I think it was between 510 and 520, which makes this project an almost total failure. Sorta.
Anyway, if you lived through this entire thread, you certainly deserve....something.
And by the way, if you're not already following ME...

PLEASE provide links to any parody Tumblr accounts.

Right. Wife. Not a cat. Good picture of the cat, though. Was wondering what you'd do when you got to her since you had no tweet to quote.
Her other two followers who aren't you, me, and Jeff don't post here. One of my relatives (also doesn't tweet; also not a cat) and one of my friends whose name you might recognize from those concert reviews. But likely you won't.
Personally I support a forum where EVERYONE goes through and details their twitter followers like that.
a: it would be amusing
b: everyone would examine who they followed.
Fun, Chris - I enjoyed it. Thanks
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
Seems like you ought to have to read my church posts and pics that you don't care about if I have to read the Twolves posts I don't care about. But whatever.

I love you but no.
Please, please, please unfollow me if my Timberwolves stuff causes even 10% of the aggravation I was getting for seeing just one more retweet of tragically unfunny (TO ME) "Burnt Out Staff Member."
I go to the downtown Minneapolis Grumpy's, but I follow the Roseville one. Makes sense. (This one is ACTUALLY pretty close to work, but I'm not a "grab a drink right after work" kind of guy...yet)
Tom doesn't post here any more but he's one of the originals. He's also tweeted three times and they're all at-replies to Scott. I feel like his heart may not be in it!
ALSO a Timberwolf for a couple 10-day contracts, but already gone - we ended up filling the roster spot with a former draft pick AND former Twitterer Lorenzo Brown - I don't know when he dropped off Twitter, but @ZoBrown7 never appeared in this thread, so it must have been a while ago
Blue is for a Winter Weather Advisory 1-3". Pink is for a Winter Storm Warning where 6" could fall. pic.twitter.com/aXKLbB2jz2
Former KSTP meteorologist has been doing fill-ins on KARE while Laura Betker is on maternity leave and Sven and/or Bel take exotic vacations. He's....OK. I'd rather have Laura.
My 1990s hero and he's STILL doing it - relatively new to Twitter; apparently his daughter (he has a 14 year old daughter? Wow, time flies) harangued him into joining, but he's really taken to it despite not following anyone yet
I believe this account exists solely to sell Vice Versa box sets. I haven't bought mine yet (them sumbitches are expensive), but they DID follow me back!
I think it's a restaurant. What it REALLY is is a lot (well, they're low volume, but percentage of timeline is high) of ramen pictures that make me hungry for ramen
A LONG time ago, I requested a follow of this guy, who lives like a block or two from me but I only ever see him at parties over ten miles away. We should probably hang out more. I fully expect to randomly bump into him at the Surly hall if I ever actually go there. He's all retweets, but not very often - more of a Facebook friend, I guess.
All three were for way, way, over-self-promotion, although in slightly different ways - Sen. Paul had a habit of starting off a tweet with "(1/10)" which meant ugh another nine tweets coming with the last one inevitably begging for a donation, Eck for turning his twitstream into an endless advertisement for his SportsBlog blog (which wasn't that good to begin with) and Krakauer for pointing to his Medium columns at least ten times for each one. Now clearly they're all making enough money from these tactics that I should be doing that myself, but it's just not how I want to use Twitter. (Also, I have nothing much to promote lately. Geez, I need to start writing something that isn't this)
Twitter says I'm following 581 582 now and from my following page it looks like I have 30 31 new accounts to tell you about. I hope that math adds up because I'm too lazy to go through and check it again. Three more posts coming soon!
Current Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota - if I wasn't looking right at her account I wouldn't be able to remember her name, though. Dayton replaced our last one (Yvette Prettner-Solsomething - wow, I ALMOST remember her name!) with her last election. Retweets A LOT.
Nothing better than a full moon on a Monday????!!!!!
Former short-time Timberwolf - I really gotta unfollow him, he goes ON and ON and ON about stuff and it's supposed to be all positive and motivational but it comes off like he's really trying to convince HIMSELF most of all. Or it's a way to constantly fish for compliments without overtly fishing for compliments (although he tends to retweet women calling him fine and stuff) - yep, unfollowed.
Drove for Front Row Motorsports - maybe still does? - but is more notable as the current Xfinity Series points leader (I think he still is...I'm too lazy to confirm before sending this - let's assume he is and move on)
Fine new host of the Late Late Show. Tries to hype up the virality of some of his clips and is sometimes guilty of repeat plugs via retweets from celebrities involved in said cliips, but seems social media savvy enough to do it NOT often enough to get me to unfollow him (yet). What a tortured stringing together of words that was!
There are few spots left, Give A Damn at the Tri Loppet 6/27 8am-2pm. I promise, it's a blast and it won't kill u. http://t.co/zRgZD1aAQF
— Surly Gives A Damn (@SurlyGivesADamn) June 23, 2015
Surly offers a lot of volunteer opportunities, and some day, I will volunteer! (I have volunteered once in the past. I have the T-shirt to prove it!)
This was a thing for about three weeks and nothing really came out of it as far as I can tell. By the way, there's still a pretty nice MP3 archive of KLF-related stuff at [redacted] if you're into that and don't already have digital copies of everything
Stephhhh curry!!!!!!! Smh best shooter in the league
Our final short-time Timberwolf on the 2014-5 roster. Almost threw me a T-shirt after the final game ended but a woman who couldn't possibly have fit in that shirt wanted it more than I did.
Ol' Mick hasn't quite taken to Twitter yet - he's tweeted four times, and three of them were about Verne. This might explain why he has only 15 followers who aren't me
He's the president! Of COURSE I'm gonna follow him! Although...can I be honest with you and say that nothing tweeted out of this account has really enriched my Twitter experience yet?
This guy gave me my Keybase invite, so I followed him. People I randomly follow tend to be either really interesting, or really boring. He's pretty interesting!
I needed some set times so I followed them. They did not post those set times. I should probably unfollow them but how else can I get SWEET DILLINGER 4 UPDATES
Turns out Karl-Anthony has an imaginary friend and he really gets around...we'll see if I get tired of following him or not.
Whew! I'm up to 585. Keeping up on my timeline is a full-time job for which I get paid NOTHING. I really need to rethink my life...or, you know...too late, why bother.
I created an ebooks bot! He tweets randomly about RAW during RAW and semi-regularly about random stuff including RAW around once every five hours, I think. He also randomly favorites stuff and will reply to you if you at-reply him. He doesn't sound as much like me as I thought, but occasionally he's pretty scary. You should interact with him so I don't have to!
Our newest international superstar in the making for the Timberwolves has only tweeted 10 times, almost all retweets and replies, with nothing since 2013. We'll see if he steps up his Twitter game in the coming season
Here come this year's new Summer League-rs, almost all of whom are long gone from the Timberwolves practice roster!
Find ways to challenge yourself everyday, that's when life will begin to open numerous of opportunities.
When your company did't officially exist in the Twitter era, you end up with a goofy handle like "VeritasTechLLC" (was "VeritasTechCo" but I guess that was a legal thing)
We must be at some big trade show this week, eh? Velocity is our new hotness...just don't ask me what it is. But my coworker in Sydney won the company-wide contest to name it! (My entry, "Datacatessen," was not met with enthusiasm)
Picked up during the summer league to replace a guy who left for Europe early...I think he was, like, the only guy within driving range or something. It was really funny at the time. I barely remember this now!
A (not yet) hilarious knockoff blending Minnesota Public Radio with hyperlocal coverage of my neighborhood, Prospect Park - they're no "Wedge Live" is all I can say but it's still early going
A coworker who freely admitted he followed me on Twitter, so I had to immediately follow him back - after all, I might need to join the Velocity team some day!
WHEW. I'm up to 599, so let's unfollow some people
@mowilliams - sooo tired of hearing about the Mo Williams Academy, and I can't see his tweets getting any better now that he's a Cavalier @pathammer - now doing meteorology in Buffalo - sadly, I do not care about the weather in Buffalo
So now I'm at 597. IT'S TOO MANY.
On the plus side, I passed 2000 followers somehow!
"I wish you'd write more!" nobody says. "Hey, you should click here for a long story about this guy: https://www.facebook.com/CRZed/posts/10153625001739791," I would never say in real life but would definitely type and paste.
Won the C Series and the Championship Series today!!!
I guess I didn't know my city councilman was on Twitter until now. The only non-DFL'er on the council, but don't worry - he's even MORE to the left as a proud member of the Green Party.
Sharyn is writing a book about her dad and is wisely using Twitter and Facebook to keep us updated on how it's going, as well as sharing cool stuff like this.
As you can see, I'm mostly limited to real-life/local interactions driving my Twitter follows these days...thank goodness for that, I suppose.
I (still) really need to go on an unfollowing binge. I think I'm going to cut way back on NASCAR accounts after the season ends - I mean, I SAY that, but then they don't tweet much between November and Feburary and I kinda forget I want to purge them. Maybe unfollowing Corden was really all I needed to make my timeline more bearable. We'll see.
My job doesn't involve wearing a tie and I have gave up going to church since I moved out. Too many late Saturday nights. So I have no need for any. Well in the unlikely event of a court hearing lol..
