Wow, this activist group lasted all of 18 tweets! (Maybe they got whatever laws they needed passed or repealed? We could always hope. I know I still can't buy booze on a Sunday or in a grocery store in this backwater state...)
Gamestop 830 market street 2k-2015 midnight launch tonight join in the party
I followed him around the time he started being talked about as part of the ownership group to save the Sacramento Kings. He doesn't tweet much but occasionally does a flurry of at-replies nobody ever sees
Brian (and Bob) Keselowski's race team. Brian's a better follow than his team. I wonder if he'll ever go out for a Sprint Cup race again - he always seems to try Daytona and then disappear
THE place to hear about flop violations first! Often retweeted by other hoops beat writers so why not follow them and get it from the source immediately?
I am not immune to the power of the Chairman and followed him the day he joined (which, according to his first tweet, was April Fools Day 2013, so I'm almost up to 18 months ago!) - he doesn't tweet much but it's almost always interesting (but God, wasn't this an awful show)
Ex-wife of a friend (well, she's also a friend on her own, but that's how I met her), "Dixie" used to be "Laura" and on Twitter with her own account, which she deleted - she pretty much only uses this one to point people to her blog (which is an excellent read, if only infrequently updated). She's all over Facebook, too.
I LIKE our chief, but she does a whole lotta retweeting of anyone even MENTIONING her and not so much giving us good information or telling us how she's keeping our more racist cops from shooting black people. This photo is from the godawful "Zombie Pub Crawl" downtown where the streets STILL run red with fake blood. Strong on photo ops, very weak on community engagement where she can't control the message. Reminds me of former mayor Rybak in that regard...and actually our current mayor Hodges appears to be heading in that direction as well, sadly...
Super rock star and Staraoke hostess - she didn't really take to Twitter, though. (She writes GREAT Facebook status updates! They may one day end up compiled in a book. Why didn't I think of that?)
He used to be a fun, candid tweeter...before he hired himself as Timberwolves head coach. Now...well, you can see that we've never heard from him since. Maybe with a new season starting we can get him back on Twitter?
— Luke Ridnour (@lukeridnour)
I think the Timberwolves tried to get him to do the Twitter thing, but he ended up never tweeting. His profile says he's a Bobcat (he's on the Magic as I type this....I think) so he's probably abandoned the account completely. Let's hack it!
I really hated cheering for the Cowboys. And now I now I know why.
THE BEST PIO officer on Twitter. I LOVE his photos. And he has, like, an ENORMOUS geographical area to cover, but he makes it look so wonderful and beautiful. I would love to have his job.
Are you buckled properly? Did you know its against the law & terribly unsafe to put the shoulder belt behind your back? CLICK IT OR TICKET!
dunkndollaz asked us to stalk his daughter so I did. (That's how I remember it, anyway.) She doesn't tweet much. I seem to recall a lot of hockey tweets when she DID tweet.
MISSING: Meyers left home on foot early Fri. Oct 24 and hasn't been seen since. Call 911 w/ any info. https://t.co/WqzIR2ZYjS
The BCA is another account a lot of journos would retweet so I figured I'd follow them to get their tweets firsthand in real time. They actually don't tweet so much, which is probably good as it means we don't have a lot of high crime happening in the state. (Or so they'll have me believe!)
The Timberwolves equipment manager may have the best handle on Twitter, but he doesn't do a lot of tweeting except to at-reply to beat writers who rather mercilessly heckle him (he seems to like it, a least) - oh man, only TWO DAYS until the HOME OPENER!!!
Everybody was retweeting him because he scooped everybody on practically everything NBA-related - still does - so I followed him too. He's the most fun on draft night when he consistently beats ESPN on EVERY SINGLE PICK.
I have not been on twitter in a while. We finished 3rd in class at Indy with the PC car. 911 also ran 3rd and the 912 blew up leading GTLM.
Former hauler driver for Front Row Motorsports - looks like he hasn't been doing that for a while - also, his timeline is like 90% retweets of other people - I think I'm unfollowing him....eh...he doesn't even retweet that much. Guess I'll stick with him. What a softie I am!
I was very excited when I learned Craig David was on the Twitter, but insane amounts of self-promotion and the occasional photo of his abs have tempered my enthusiasm - I'm sticking with him for now, though
Classic Pop has been given the exclusive premiere of ‘Horizon Flame’ by @AlisonMoyet
They do a lot of retweeting of people mentioning Classic Pop magazine, but they also occasionally have some "outside the magazine" news that's pretty cool - this is a good example - by the way, it's incredibly expensive but you owe it to yourself to at least try ONE issue and see if it sings to you - and then subscribe if it does
Former drummer in (Prince and) The Revolution, another guy I followed as soon as I figured out he was on Twitter. I've seen him in the flesh! His timeline is almost all retweets that take place during his weekly radio show. But not annoying enough to unfollow.
Followed him after the Timberwolves drafted him. He'll be our #1 center sooner than you think (sorry, Pek!) and I hope Sqor pays him handsomely for propping up their "social network"
Somehow I missed Corey on Twitter - or he wasn't tweeting at the time. Not enough pictures of his GOAT. (It appears that this is his child and not his goat.)
Timberwolves center once followed me for hyping his Facebook page, told me I had "cool glasses" and promised to mail me a gift, which he never did - but the follow was gift enough
The Purple Xperience is performing at Hollywood Casino Columbus OH tonight join for a purple party!!
Former keyboard wizard for (Prince and) The Revolution; doesn't tweet or retweet nearly as much as his bandmate Bobby Z (who was probably how I found HIM)
Thanks for the feedback! Leaning towards a Samsung
Former Summer League invitee to the Wolves, has endured some untimely injuries or he'd be on the Bulls right now - looooooooves social media, especially Instagram, Vine and Snapchat. Very chatty but also a very amusing follow
Former Mixmag writer turned artist - no danger of him becoming the next Neil Tennant, but that doesn't mean he still can't put out some good grooves or share some decent info on Twitter
HSEM is "Homeland Security and Emergency Management" and they're one of the more boring state accounts I follow - thankfully, that ALSO means there aren't any real emergencies going on
Board is back up... for now. A more permanent solution will be coming once work is not slamming our collective asses.
Rotating access to this account means a healthy crew livetweets wrestling shows, but tweets like the above can also be used to determine spikes in board visits by bored DVDVR users who can't get to their homebase
I followed him during my mayoral run when he said he was impressed we had a mayoral candidate who new what Unicode was. He's pretty out there and has some very specific topics of interest, but he also has some interesting at-conversations with other people I follow which I can eavesdrop...I'll get to them pretty soon, I bet
Damn lakers are 0-5 looks like it's going to be a long season
Former King, former Wolves coach, now back with Kings television and retweets EVERY SINGLE MENTION of Bobby Jackson on Twitter, so I have just unfollowed him - with great regret, but DAMN.
My personal hero and it's delightful how Daft Punk have gotten people interested in him again. He may yet release new music! Has Liked and favorited stuff on Facebook and Twitter and I want to believe that he really has nothing better to do that putter around on social media - to his credit, he's probably old enough that that's possible, once you get past the fact that men his age usually aren't ever on the computer. (Of course, when I'M that age, you can bet that's the ONLY place I'm gonna be...heck, I'm close to that at THIS age)
Occasional blogger, collector of FOIA requests, staunch privacy advocate, gets a lot of stuff up his butt for a bit longer than I'd like, but it's nice to believe in stuff. This #pointergate thing isn't his finest hour, but again, it's nice to believe in stuff. I'm old and cynical and think it's a waste of effort, nothing will change, and nobody watches 5 Eyewitness News ALREADY, so. Anyway, he and Ryan and Anton swap a lot of at-messages, so I get to voyeuristically follow them that way.
Almost as much of a waste of space as the "Reliable Sources" account - but they tweet maybe once or twice a day on non-Sundays so you've heard me sing this song before...
U should b dancin like David instead of twerkin for trouble!
KING OF THE HYPE! Former hype man for MC Hammer, cut loose just before Hammer really blew up, along with Big One (Bigg 1? It is impossible for Google to tell me how he liked his moniker's spelling), The Lone Mixer and DJ Redeemed and the list goes on. One of those "holy crap, HE'S on Twitter?!" discoveries even though I don't think I've ever seen him tweet - I wonder if he's still alive...pretty sure The Lone Mixer isn't
Wow, I totally forgot I followed him. What I mainly remember him for is that if I post ANYTHING on Google+, he'll +1 it. I think he probably hasn't been on the board in five years as well (if I remeber which account he is...or I'm way wrong and probably will get in big trouble now) - whoa, that's EXACTLY five years ago today! WEIRD.
I used to know him from some mailing lists back in the 90s, but now he is the editor of Classic Pop magazine AND has a sweet gig putting together archival ZTT Records releases. No idea why his Twitter is private
Did not watch a single minute of college football today... Is that bad?
Former Timberwolf, was a monster for the Iowa Energy in the D-League last season. Don't know if he made it back up to the Association this season or not. Obviously he doesn't tweet much!
Don's current project - well, he has a couple post-ZOOBOMBS projects but this is the one that tweets. Almost everything gets retweeted by the old Zoobombs account anyway, but it's not like I invest a lot of time in translating these...they usually just get skimmed over

Despite me getting an oven mitt with their handle proudly displayed, I believe they've given up on Twitter. (And that oven mitt may have been left over from last year)
.@dbrauer Looks like state turnout was closer to 50%, so #Mpls at 55.5% is higher. #mplsvotes
So Anton has a separate account for his Wolves stuff - which seems silly, but it's a free Twitter. (Mostly) I might also watch Pitino vs. Pitino tonight before switching to the truck race...
I have been up against tough competition all my life. I wouldn't know how to get along without it. -Walt Disney #quote#quotes
Our current mayor pointed at a black guy once and now it's all anybody can talk about. She's not great on Twitter - nobody really needs to follow another "one inspirational quote every day" - but at least she's slightly less annoying than our previous mayor (who I was happy to unfollow long before I started this project). Finally, as a mayor, I'm not entirely certain I've been convinced she can do the job better than I could have. On the other hand, it's hard to discount the fact that waaaaaaaay more people voted for her than me
Prairie photographer tests top secret Sony tech as part of exclusive club http://t.co/X8uaF5R6tN
BMTN's "feed only" account, because their other accounts got a little too "social" (read: annoying) - unfortunately, they still don't tag their "sponsored content" any different from their actual news stories so you can find yourself clicking through to some really useless shit if you're not paying careful attention
It's physically impossible for me to be unhappy when the sun is shining like it is! ??
(Current?) Timberwolves in-arena hostess - they've REALLY cut back on the in-arena hosting duties, by the way - I haven't even seen the guy they DID hire enough times to be able to complain about how I'd be doing the job better because they've done practically NOTHING this year - which was a conscious decision, I'm told, as season ticket holder feedback basically said "in-arena host segments are a waste of time and you shouldn't do them" - which, in turn, leads me to wonder why they even bothered with the open auditions that I attended....ah well, it was fun for me to try once.
KARE morning reporter - as much as I love KARE, I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate their "Food Fight" hashtaggery and the way it can clog up my timeline when all I really want is NEWS
A DVDVR board guy, he hooked me up with NXT knowledge when I happened to be near Orlando on the right night. Still annoyed that I didn't pick him out of the crowd as I believe he ended up like ten feet from me
I don't totally remember how I came to follow her - maybe she followed me first? - but we have a lot of mutual friends in real life AND on the social medias. She gave me an ello invite! (Anybody need an ello invite?)
Watching 106 & Park to keep up with the latest jams.
Ellie's second job has its own Twitter! But doesn't do a lot of non-retweeting. Is there a Blingo! season? We may not be in it now that it's gettin' cold out
“@GeorgeKillebrew: The great @wolvespresident in the house at the AAC. One of the good guys in the biz.” ....Right back at you Mr Killebrew!
Here's the account the President of the Timberwolves landed on after whatever troubles he experienced with his original one (@WolvesPrez, which still has way more followers)
More pics to come..but that was a fun week. Lots of peeps worked very hard to make it happen. pic.twitter.com/mdDuDvK1w2
Here's a kid who liked some of my Wolves instagrams and also sat darn close to courtside (where she'd tweet interesting photos of the opposition bench) - further to the story that her family must be loaded, I believe she's now college-ing overseas (Ireland?). I should probably unfollow her but I don't have a lot of other accounts I'm following where I get a perspective like hers. I just hope I don't look like some creepy old man by continuing to follow her. (Well, NOW I feel creepy - I shouldn't'a oughta typed that)
Ya know, so long as he stayed off of Twitter, Dale Jr. just took to it like a natural. He's awesome on Twitter and probably also in real life. I can't even lie. I get why people love him now.
Are there any Bantam AA hockey families still in Brainerd who can talk to us today?
KARE reporter, always looking for someone to cry on camera (this call is for the tragic story of the 14 year old kid died in the hockey tourney this weekend)

Former Timberwolves assistant coach (also former Kings coach - he's an Adelman guy), of HIS 134 tweets, only like TWO aren't retweets. I had to duck into the at-replies to find something he actually wrote HIMSELF! Is he using Twitter wrong....or PERFECTLY?
One of the Managers of Information Development at Symantec...I think. I don't know what goes on in that other building. She has eight tweets in five years. Used to have a sweet work handle (NetBackupDocs?) years ago, but opted to change it to this one instead.
The patriarch - David's father and Todd's grandfather. He currently lives in Thailand (bet there's a story there) so he's never quite sure when his grandson is racing
One more #LASTCAR article for 2014 set for this Sunday - a non-NASCAR feature I did earlier this year. Stay tuned.
The man behind the greatest NASCAR blog on the planet; its sole purpose is to document the last place finish of every one of the big three touring series. Probably Caleb Roark's favourite site!
Ran for State Rep. against Phyllis Kahn this time around and managed to hold her to only 77% of the vote. (Nobody ever told him grammatically incorrect tweets probably wouldn't help.) The fact that he hasn't tweeted since the election has made him easy to not unfollow!
I like hearing my Amazon UK orders have shipped. I’d just prefer to hear it from Amazon UK instead of the Visa Fraud Detection Department.
Ran (may still run) a lot of music related email lists I subscribed to in the 1990s. One of the few people to own more KLF 12" singles than me, at one time. (Also assume he still has physical possession of assloads of music - maybe I should tweet him sometime and find out!)
Thank you to all of my supporters for all of your help and encouragement over these last 18 months. -Mike pic.twitter.com/einI92CE7k
The Timberwolves' draft picks this year almost became afterthoughts after the Love trade brought over Wiggy, Bennett and Thad Young. Now that our entire starting lineup is injured, however, I expect to see more minutes from them tonight than I'd like...

Icelandic singer who is not Bjork - appeared on the "first" gusgus album almost 20 years ago (gosh, almost 20 years!) - now tours solo and acoustic with her man and cute kid sharing lots of beautiful photos of scenic lands along the way
Wishing my dad @rjankrum a Happy Birthday today! Wish we could have put it in VL for you.
And now we're finally to the REAL home stretch and the Timberwolves' summer roster from a few months back. Fesenko is actually an NBA vet of several years - a large Russian man who has many hilarious one-liners. This might be one of them, but I don't speak this particular language. He has a hot girlfriend and...doesn't use Instagram to remind the world as much as I remembered, now that I check. He doesn't tweet enough to annoy me into unfollowing him
“@DA_KID_DC: OLD SCHOOL STEELER FOOTBALL!! ??????????”
Apparently DJ tweets all the time and I skim right by them because they are all like this and mean very little to me. I should probably unfollow him....but I won't. (I'll think about it later, though.)
Expect a pretty boring ten next time as we work our way through the Summer League people - that means we've GOTTA be close to 500, right?
Last man waived by the Timberwolves in the summer (well, not counting JJ Barea, I guess) - he's tearing up the D League for Reno at the moment. On Twitter, he's mostly retweets and I guess with this lack of internal spell check, that might not be a bad idea...or maybe that's how they spell in Canada. Who can say?
And HE'S in UKRAINE! LaRon's also liked really random Instagram band photos I've taken, which I definitely appreciate, but just makes him seem even more...let's say MERCURIAL - or super bored when not playing basketball
KARE "investigative reporter" - I'm not impressed with him ... thus far, all I've really seen him do is take a ten second item barely qualifying as "news" and turn it into seven minutes - he also handles local versions of whatever Gannett/USA Today cooks up for "sweeps"
Tix still left 4 BBKINGS SHOW 2NITE but hurry!!...Tomorrow's are gone! Come get this medicine y'all!
Is the unfollow total at double digits yet? After reading some of these descriptions I often root for the unfollow like a Roman in the Colisium, and you more often than not give them the thumbs up and they live and my weird thirst goes unquenched.
I have followed 3 to 5 people off of this list though none of them have Timberwolves or KARE connections.
Only tweeted six times and may have retired, but I'm a sucker for Minnesota Public Information Officers. I think I want to be a PIO - or did, before I started hating all policemen for being racist bullies who abuse their power and have problems with being filmed....ah, I digress. I'm sure all the PIOs I follow are mostly good guys who'd never lie to protect the precious institution of the...let's move on
#OldFriend Holiday Ale is now on draft in the taproom! We're open 12-5pm today and @gastrotruck is serving up a great menu!
Local craft brew and I'm sure there's a Mark Joseph connection which got me to follow them, too. Their beer is (usually) tasty! But I've never been to their taproom. I guess I should hang out in Northeast more.
Sorry I meant to send that last tweet earlier. I didn't realize it didn't send.
After following everybody else in the Gilliland family, I figured it'd probably be OK to follow the one female Gilly on Twitter - plus, she sent me that hat I won, so we're practically best friends now! David's wife, Todd's mom - they have a daughter, too, but she is more of an equestrian than a racecar driver - and I THINK she's too young to be on Twitter. I haven't checked. Hey, I'm not THAT much of a creepy stalker.
Timberwolves "veteran" - he's pretty good (for a member of the Timberwolves)! - too bad he's got the flu or something. Hope he's well in time for tomorrow's game...
— Greg Ives (@Ives_Greg)
Dale Jr's future crew chief JOINED Twitter, but still hasn't tweeted. We'll see if Dale can convince him or not
I think I had actually started on this project when I noticed I was following a dormant Mike Bliss account, so out of curiosity I looked around ... and apparently found THIS dormant Mike Bliss account - and also went on a TriStar Motorsports following spree...
Having a blast in the Everglades of South Florida today. I haven't been on an airboat since I was a kid. Amazing! http://t.co/5ZjGPSSlPv
President Bongo is one of the mainstays in gusgus and did a lot of their "mixes" when they were releasing them on a monthly basis in the late 90s/early 00s - Radio Bongo kind of grew out of that
Timberwolves.com reporter (well, maybe put that in quotes - he's the website editor, mostly, but does get to occasionally report whatever the team wants him to report)
Backmarker Sprint cup team - I guess we could just be amazed Randy Humphrey still fields a team (occasionally) but they have cut WAY back on the number of races they show up at...we'll see what they do next season...
THREE TO GO! I should probably do them all today. Well, let's see if I have any work first.
Let me tell you about the Internet - it's a place where a show you listened to over 20 years ago when you lived in the Power 106 listening area is now available to you as a podcast. WHAT A WORLD
Current PowerTools resident, and one of the first people I really dug when I listened to the show back in 1992 or 1993 or whenever. He also runs the Groove Radio experience, which I believe is now a Sirius channel or some other nonsense - I have a few GrooveRadio mix CDs and if only I knew which box they were in, they'd still hold up!
I think I was one of their first followers, but Lord have mercy - they will retweet ANYTHING said about them, hundreds of times, any hour of the day, and especially while their shows are on (in English OR Spanish). I'm also too old to get excited by the 10,000th time they've shown me that woman licking something or somebody. UNFOLLOWED! Not nearly as big a deal as their social media wizards would want your impression to be. (That said, this is a funny video.)
(I don't believe in disabling retweets for an account...I'll either follow them or I won't. I'm relieved to have finally made it here so I can unfollow this account.)
All Dale Jr all the time - will sponsor many (most?) of his Sprint Cup races next year - which is probably, sadly, a better investment than sponsoring the series just under the Sprint Cup series.
Nationwide (oops) team which has some technical alliances which allow their 98 car to do much better than you'd expect from a single car team. David Ragan drove some races for them last season, which was fun to watch
If I'm gonna follow all the police accounts, least I can do is follow a fireman account. If I had written this a few hours earlier, I could have shared the graphic that included the wise advice "Clean lent out of dryer vents"
Thanks to PERSONHURTER for a sweet run of shows and Tony Molinaro for running mad sound and being our new band... http://t.co/u2CTQsnR1B
Bix followed me so I ended up following him back. Part of me regrets it because he tweets SO MUCH, but he survives the cut until the next live MMA event I'm not watching and am not interested in annoys me enough to pull that trigger. (Oh, hi, Bix.)
You can tell by the intro, this verdict is going to anger peeps
Timberwolves director of Game Ops (I think) doesn't seem to want people to know he's on Twitter - probably because it would get him an endless stream of "hey why don't you ALWAYS play the Mario coin sound effect on a T-wolves made free throw" tweets...which I have thus far refrained from doing, by the way
Was just reminded about Twitter here at the @turf_club while chatting with @DJJasonNagel. I should come around here more often.
He followed me and liked some of my crappy concert Instagrams so I followed him in the hopes he would ALSO tweet his much higher quality concert photos and/or Instagrams. He...hasn't tweeted much at all
Most recent Independence Party candidate for governor - she didn't get enough votes to keep them in "major party" status. Jesse Ventura, she is not. She has at least tweeted since the election, if only mostly to complain about school lunches
Most recent Libertarian Party candidate for governor - no, really! Don't let his lack of followers and almost-completely-weeded-up timeline fool you! (Also, how hilarious, another MMA tweet)
Kiko King & creativemaze supported gusgus on the American leg of their tour (and maybe some other countries, I wasn't really paying attention) - they're....OK
How to Determine Your Freelance Rate and Get Paid What You’re Worth http://t.co/swEdIsV3DA
I promised the nice UCR Alumni rep who bought me a steak that I'd follow this account, and I'm a man of my word! (It IS kinda interesting to see what's going on at the alma mater I'll never be able to afford to give any money to - but God bless 'em for asking me once a year if I'm ready!)
I love this show and I was excited to see this account start up, but they are the Lucha Underground of cult shows cancelled over a decade ago. UNFOLLOWED. Hey, I love your show and I'd love for it to be rebooted but I have zero desire to see every mention of it ever on Twitter for all time. But hey, thanks for those favorites, Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein!
Makers of the cool Christmas shirts I get every year, they somehow forgot to send a tweet saying the new Christmas shirts were available for order. Luckily, following them was enough to trigger a reminder to check the website frequently. I guess I'll keep following them as they are a low-volume follow...
First Avenue took over the Turf, so now they tweet set times! So I followed them! (The Clown Lounge also has an account, but it's not tweeting and I'm not following...yet)
It has now been 65 days since @BrockLesnar last defended the @WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Or...there are many books on the market too. For example: Click Here Read up as much as you can, also there is a short CD-ROM version of the trading card game. It came with some of my daughter's cards, and it helped explain some of the play basics.
