Heaven forbid the NHL accept an owner that actually has money and wants a team.
Also, heaven forbid the NHL from putting a team in a city that will actually go to games and support the team.
Let's be honest, Quebec and Winnipeg lost their teams because they couldn't make a go of it. I am not sure that putting teams back there makes any sense.
Hamilton, however, has never gotten the chance and I think putting a team there makes sense. Southern Ontario is ripe for another hockey team and there would be no problem generating support for the team.
Look what you did
Is this who you wanted me to be?
Well it's not me
I think the general Toronto area probably could support two teams without much trouble. I don't know how much the Leafs and Sabres would like the idea, though.
Balsillie, on the other hand, is a liar and a charlatan who isn't interested in what's best for the NHL and thinks its rules don't apply to him. He's the Ontarian Clay Bennett.
even as a wings fan, i can't say the wings have played much better than the blues. johnson has made some huge saves and has looked very good (except his gift goal to yzerman). st.
