Make just a small little curved line, and it looks exactly like the "copyright" sign. Which is what most people, I think, will see when they see the new Comedy Central logo. So from a brand-recognition standpoint, it's uninspired.

I'm not really sold on it. For a channel that tries to be edgy and daring, it just looks so bland and corporate. I don't see what was wrong with the old logo, really.
They also seem to have hired the same people that did The Gap one because that's just bad, really.
