GE is giving up NBC Universal to Comcast - they will combine powers to create a new entity 51% owned by Comcast, 49% owned by GE but controlled by Comcast.
And NOW, Congress has a new thing to talk about and distract the public! Hooray!
Will THIS be the event that gets Telemundo added to my Comcast lineup? We can only hope!
This same topic came up on one of the TV sites I read...and Comcast actually had someone respond to it. One Scott McNulty came by to essentially say that Comcast believes that cable content shouldn't be given away for free, but broadcast content should, and that they will not change the availability of NBC shows on Hulu. "Hulu will continue to be managed and offered to consumers just as it is." http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/12/03/yup-comcast-now-owns-nbc/

But I don't use it to watch broadcast TV (well not US broadcast) other than late night talk shows. Everything is cable or international.

DISCLAIMER: I haven't tried this and don't intend to, but if you really wanna watch it (but not watch any nbc.com ads) it wouldn't hurt to try it out...let us know if/how it works http://www.fanpop.com/external/20874 (via Digg)
