The SEC is out. Johnny Football light up Alabama in the first half and in the fourth quarter. Some credit has to go to the Texas A&M defense for not letting Bama get a first down to til the second quarter and coming up big at the end. Even though there are 5 SEC team in the top ten, 2 of them probably deserve to be there, they are out of the title game. There should be zero talk of a 1-loss SEC team with three undefeated teams in front of them being in the title game. McCarron's Heisman hope is gone while Manziel is on the rise.
Louisville picked the wrong week to lose and lose badly. Oregon, ND and Kansas State are the final three standing. Oregon's trail is a lot more difficult. They have Oregon State, Standford and the Pac-12 title game. ND is second with Wake and having to go USC. Kansas State has the easiest, they have Baylor and Texas at home. Yeah, I don't think Texas is that good. BCS projections have ND vs. Nebraska in the Rose Bowl if everyone wins out. If that is the case, I'd rather ND lose then face a shit Big Ten team in a bowl where the parade is more interesting than the game.

Unless Notre Dame loses to Wake and USC, they likely will be in the Rose Bowl as the worst case scenario, should Oregon win out. And even then they might still go to the Rose Bowl. Remember, only 2 SEC teams can go to BCS games, so it is going to be a stretch to find the other at large team. As a Notre Dame fan and someone who got them at 25-1 to win the BCS after the Michigan game, I think they should play in the title game. As a realist, they are the 3rd of the 3 teams and need a break, and even then, I think they go to the Coliseum Thanksgiving weekend a solid 7 point underdog. Florida State should go to sleep every night sickened at how they blew a golden shot at the national championship, especially since Florida appeared to peak a month ago. Alabama's defense did show vulnerability against an LSU team that struggled against an Auburn defense that is so bad that 11 random people from this board probably could put up 28 points against it. It is funny how missed extra points do change how the game is played with the chase of the lost point. Have Tennessee and Auburn fired the coach yet? People almost had to care about a Big East team. That almost lasted 1 second.
I'm not thrilled FSU lost a game or anything like that, but we weren't getting in over any of the unbeatens and would have struggled to pull ahead of a one loss SEC team(as us being behind two two loss teams shows). Computers hate FSU and even a win over Florida won't be enough.
I'll be happy enough if we win out, ACC champs, state champs and beat the Big East in the Orange for a top five finish.
Right now I think Notre Dame loses to USC and K State loses to Texas. Oregon could lose to Stanford but I don't think they will. So Oregon versus the Bama or Georgia would be my bet for the title.

Bill Snyder seem to be able to handle Texas. I am more concerned with their game at Baylor.

The thought of a UW/Notre Dame matchup in Pasadena is VERY intriguing.

Its intriguing to everyone in Wisconsin and the Big Ten, but not for anyone else. ND going to the Rose Bowl to play a shitty Big Ten team is a slap in the face if they go undefeated. I am actually hoping if everyone wins out these next two weeks and ND plays USC last, they lose. I would rather see Notre Dame lose find a way to go down a peg away from the Rose Bowl and play Bama. There is no point if ND wins out they go back to So Cal to play a team that has no business being in that game due to the fact the Big Ten's best teams are law breakers.

Heh. And with their win today against Bowling Green, they clinched the MAC East title and a meeting with Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship Game. 10-1. I am absolutely astonished this happened at any time outside my innumerable seasons as them in the NCAA Football video game series.
