So the Bowl games are now underway, what bowls are everyone looking most forward to? I'm probably looking most forward to: 1. Peach Bowl - Florida vs Miami - of course I'm going to pick my team's game first. It's my understanding that Charlie Strong will coach the team for the bowl game, it'd be great to finally beat Miami (lost to them the past 3 seasons) to have so momentum going into next year, but they didn't show up in their bowl game last year with Zook, so they might show up even less, disappointed that the coach they liked is now gone. It could be great or it could be a disaster
2. Hawaii Bowl - UAB vs. Hawaii - My hometown Blazers were THIS close to be ranked this year (made it as high as 26th) before losing to two teams obviously worse than them and blowing a game against Southern Miss. They could have legimately gone 10 - 1 and instead end up 7 - 4. But atleast they get their first bowl game and a trip to Hawaii. For those of you who haven't noticed, UAB has a pretty explosive offense. QB Darrell Hickey had a 149.4 QB rating which tied him for 13th in the nation with some guy named Chris Leak. And wide receiver Roddy White was second in the nation in receiving yards. On the other side you have Timmy Chang and his 13,000+ career passing yards. Could be one of those mid major shootouts.
3. Orange Bowl - Oklahoma vs. USC - I still think it should be Auburn over BOTH of these teams, but since it is #1 vs. #2, unbeaten teams it should be an interesting and entertaining game to watch and definitely the best of the BCS games.
4. Liberty Bowl - Boise State vs. Lousiville - One of the unbeaten teams against one of the near unbeaten teams. Should be lots of offense here as well and I think Louisville come out on top.
5. Silicon Valley Bowl - Troy vs. Northern Illinois - Another team from my home state gets their first bowl game. 4 Alabama teams, woohoo!

I've always felt bad for Hawaii. I guess if they're bowl eligible, they have to enter the Hawaii bowl. It happened last year, where they were headed for a better bowl, but they had to stay in Hawaii. It's just one more home game, instead of going somewhere they've never been before.
That said, I'm looking forwards to the Rose Bowl the most. I like the day (Mom and I usually watch the parade - tradition) and, controversy aside, Texas vs. Michigan should be good. As a PSU'er, I'm also rooting for Chad Henne to get destroyed, but that's just petty jealousy and wishful thinking.
Boise State vs Louisville: The over/under is 83. That number might fall early 3rd quarter. Defense go home.
Miami vs. Florida: Should be a good game that is still competitive when the New Year starts.
USC vs. Oklahoma: Please don't let another national title game turn into a dud.
LSU vs. Iowa: Should be good, solid football.
Hawaii vs. UAB: Finally, something for the degenerate gamblers on X-Mas Eve. Plus, over/under of 76 means points will be put on the board.
Notre Dame vs. Oregon State: Payback for January 1st, 2001.
Wisconsin vs. Georgia: See LSU/Iowa.
Pitt vs. Utah: See two teams in a BCS Bowl who already have lost their coaches.
Cal vs. Texas Tech: Over Here, Over Here.
Michigan vs. Texas: Should be a good game, plus the Pac 10 not having a team might cause a Tournament of Roses Committee Member to attempt to suffocate themselves in a bed of roses.
GMAC Bowl: Memphis vs. Bowling Green For some reason, the GMAC bowl is always exciting with a ton of points scored. Don't see any reason why this should be different. Plus, how can you NOT want to see a team based in the Tractor Pull Capital of the World?
Hawaii Bowl: UAB vs. Hawaii Just to see if the Hawaii mascot starts another riot on X-mas. Of course, most people will be expecting one in Conseco Fieldhouse that day. Ahhhh, Christmas.
Motor City Bowl: Toledo vs. Connecticut Only cuz I'll be there.
Peach Bowl: Miami vs. Florida I just find the fact that both of these teams are playing in secondary bowl on Dec. 31st HILARIOUS.
Rose Bowl: Michigan vs. Texas One, cuz I'll be there. Two, because it's the stoppable force meeting the moveable object. Tons of points, I predict. and a Michigan win, of course

Yeah, by Hawai'i Bowl rules, if Hawai'i is eligible, the Hawai'i Bowl has to take them. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but that's the way it is.
NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Someone who saw CASH MONEY in starting another bowl game, inspired by Hawaii going 9-2 and getting left out of all the reindeer bowl games. They had someone representing the Hawaii Bowl committee at the Hawaii/Michigan State game, and that's his story.
DEAN:
"Jiminy fucking Crickets, someone needs to write a Gordon Lightfoot-esque song- "The Ballad Of What The Fuck Just Flew Out Of Dean's Ass"."
Orange Bowl (USC/Okla) just because it is the championship game with 4 out of the 5 Heisman candidates.
Liberty Bowl (Louisville/Boise St) should be cool, two mid-major schools doing really well. Plus offense, offense, offense. ESPN has the game at 3:30 and the Peach bowl at 7:30, I really doubt this one will be over by then lol.
Peach Bowl (Fla/Miami) is high on my list, bragging rights for the state of Florida. Should be fun.
Fiesta Bowl (Utah/Pitt) How is the Utah players going to react knowing their coach is gone and is the Big East really that pathetic (well I think I know the answer to that one lol)
Sugar Bowl (Auburn/Va Tech) It's all about Auburn here, with all the eyes on them they will want to show that they deserve their spot.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19
Orange Bowl - Personal hatred of USC aside, this should just be a fantastic game.
Fiesta Bowl - The story of how Utah will play is gonna be the pulling factor in this, but as a Pittsburgher in Detroit I gotta hope that one of the most historical colleges for college football puts forth a great effort.
Sugar Bowl - It's time for either Auburn or Va Tech to shine. This bowl'll decide who.
ROSE BOWL - Just awesome. Both Michigan and Texas have shown some goofups in their seasons, but both are still top-notch. It should be a fun game to watch, and here's hoping Michigan forces some respect for THE college football franchise out of the youngun ACC/SEC lovers.
