Not really. I just wanted to say that the new musical theme CNN has picked for their "round the clock coverage" (which almost blew out Capital Gang AGAIN) has got to be the most GAWD-AWWWWWWWWFUL PIECE OF CRAP I've heard in a long while. I don't say this often, but *I* could compose something more urgent and compelling (if indeed that's what they were attempting to portray). Part of me even wonders if it's just being played back at the wrong speed or something.
Meh -- that's ok; I love when NBC pulls a "special report" even though it's included in the commercial break, like they did twice tonight about the hurricane.
If it were a true SR, it should be over the actual show itself.
I liked the bit where the Daily Show, claiming they couldn't afford to send a correspondent to Florida to report directly on the hurricane, instead sent her to stand in the middle of a car wash for a similar effect. Now every time I see some poor schmuck in a poncho yelling into the mic while the wind and rain slap him/her around, that's what I think of.
Pretty good episode. What can I say, I've enjoyed the focus on Steve's misadventures the past few weeks. I think my favorite part, in addition to the Witches-9/11 bit was Bob Saget texting Roger, and Roger's response.
