Looks like he is going to be out for a very long time with his injury. Gutted for him. He has been great for a long time so hopefully he will be the same when he comes back in around a years time by the sound of it. Won't be a lot of fun for him.
So what will they do with the NXT title with him out? Tournament? Gargano v someone for the title? Gargano defends it for him under pressure?
This is a real bummer for me. My wife and I bought tickets to Takeover, specifically because we were hoping to see the final Ciampa/Gargano match. I feel like the best thing they could do would be to try and finish the story with an angle where a third party attacks Ciampa and forces the resolution between the two, and leads to Gargano having to fight for revenge (and likely, the title).
Who to fight, though? There aren't really any guys in NXT that could work. Adam Cole is probably the most likely choice, but really, I feel like there's not a ton of sizzle on Gargano/Cole, there's no real history between any of them, and nobody ever actually boos the UE, no matter what they do. Looking at the guys DIY has been fighting lately, the best option, provided that they're willing to do it, would be to use The Bar. Gargano vs. Cesaro would be a great match, them beating The Bar gives us motivation, and since Cesaro's not an NXT guy, the crowd might actually boo him.
Sucks for Ciampa who has been killer but also it's kinda good to get somebody else in the title picture for a while. Not sure who gets it... Dream has a belt. I feel like Gargano losing under pressure is a thing again. Adam Cole I guess?

I'm so confused. One of them has red hair and for the longest time i've thought he was Rosey. Because of the hair you know? But the last two shows i've listened carefully to J.R.'s commentary (usually i ignore him)
