I'm curious how WWE feels about this sort of thing. They could take it as "hey, he's working hard to get himself over", or they could hold a grudge. It's totally reasonable for somebody who's been cut loose -- particularly for an Independent Contractor, ahem -- to "go into business for himself". But I can see The E not much liking it. It's a whole degree of NIH -- Not Invented Here -- if we didn't come up with it, & we don't control it, then it's something we'd better be leery of.
I'd been liking Chris a lot on this run, when I'd seen him on NXT or Superstars at live shows. (Which, BTW, is a complete 180 from his first run, when I had no use for him at all.) So, Chris, do you even know who it was that you pissed off?
It appears Youtube videos got Zack Ryder on Smackdown, and possibly even saved his job, so not a big surprise that all under-used wrestlers are gonna be flocking to it.

I must have missed the part where he showed charisma.
I heard him do a radio interview on Pro Wrestling Report right after he was released, and he was surprisingly charismatic. He may be one of those guys who has trouble translating it via scripted promos.
