Is it possible when editing one's profile to link to a photo from your hard drive to use as an avatar?
"It would have been cool if Owen said Wahoo McDaniel was kicking his ass." - WTF13; "But the Junkyard Dog rushed the ring and made the save BY GAWD (literally BY GOD!)" - SuperShaneSpear; proving that you can still find a way that Owen Hart and Bret Hart are still good for a laugh.
Basically you're just a big tough bastard. People respect you but don't really like you. And frankly you couldn't give a shit.
Your hard drive and its contents are (hopefully) accessible only to you. If you put a reference to something that exists only on your hard drive, you will be able to see it but no one else will.
Most ISP accounts come with some sort of limited storage (5 mb?) that IS accessible to the rest of the world, but you need to figure out how to get your avatar out there. Then we would be able to see it also.
You have to have the picture online somewhere so anyone can see it as said above, but if you link to an existing picture get permission first (I didn't realise you needed to and locked up a browser or two here once).
If you can't find an online image, or really want to use whatever you've got on your hard drive, send me a personal message and I'll arrange sticking your pic up on my homepage somewhere if you like .

"Nobody enjoys a good time more than I do, but this business of yours is as legitimate as a three-legged donkey...which of course is illegitimate because as we all know donkeys have four legs."Lance Storm, 21st January 2002.
I used to have 5-6 different passwords for no good reason, but now I've got them narrowed down to 2 Important Stuff passwords (I only use one banking service site) and 1 I Dont Care About This Crap password.
