I don't know how this didn't make yesterday's news here Click Here (bostonherald.com). The Celtics claim this is Kendrick Perkins insurance. I just think that Danny Ainge set out to find someone more broken down than KG and Rasheed this year, or he just likes to drive Bill Simmons up a wall.

Jermaine O'Neal has just been brutally bad these last few years, there was no decline in skill with him it just all went at once like an NFL running back, but he's as done as done can be.

It's a shame JO's gotten this bad, too, because when he was good, he was really good; he was the superstar of the Pacers franchise while Reggie Miller was still the heart and soul.

True, but as I recall correctly there are no Hall-of-Fame eligible players who've won the MVP award even once and not gotten into the Hall of Fame.
