After the win against Miami, the first game of his career in which he played at least 25 minutes and missed at least 10 shots (and that's a quite impressive streak), the Celtics' Paul Pierce will have an MRI on his left foot to determine the extent of his injury.

He's also recently sprained his right hand, which is his shooting hand.

The Miami game was the first game, regular-season or playoffs, in which Pierce has been held without a field goal since 2000-- and only the fourth of his career.

Wasn't that serious as he went over 30 in the next game.

Paul Pierce is a whiner. I don't believe anything he ever has to say about being injured.

And I could have sworn he had an 0-for-11 game under his belt.
